Most any word might have one of many different meanings to different people. What Dominionism actually means to NAR is the definition should really look close at. In Biblical history Israel was given the Law and Judges and Prophets then Kings. There were good Judges and false and there good Kings and bad Kings in that though they rejected their true King and chose rather to have their own leader and definition of Law and Religion.

After Christ came and after the Apostles and the destruction of Jerusalem in around the 300'sAD and Constantine's conversion to Christianity they thought to have an Pope over all the Church and laws of the state. They refer to this as Intergralism not Domionism but regardless of the word they choose to call it it is where a religious leader has dominion over both religion and the government officials. From around the 300'sAD until the Protestant movement the RCC or the Pope anointed kings over kingdoms and ordered kingdoms to war with other kingdoms if one was declared heretic. There's other examples of this in history in Spain,Brazil the Portuguese even Nazi Germany. Regardless of what word it was called Dominionism is where there is a man who is a supreme leader enforcing that religious laws and state laws are the same.

So as in Hebrews 8:7-8 the fault is in "them",not the law itself but them. and so 1500 or so years before Christ and afterwards now 2024 years also there I think is the better example of an definition of dominionism applied by men https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Hebrews 8&version=KJV And as for an establishment of another theocracy with an man in charge we already know it's results from the past 3500 years where men have already tried to apply it. You're probably right. It seems the dominionism/reconstructionism of past decades has become pentecostal dominionism. I'll be as leery of the prophet as I am the pope. Bizarre times...

That's the funny part because you use the term Pentecostal deminionism and it's not just exclusive to the Pentecostal denomination. I see people use NAR origin terminology all over the internet such as demoncrat and others which they used long before Trump and MAGA. Having heard their coining of phrases in discussions before catches anyone who was ever exposed to it's ear. Why I say it's funny is because it's a bit too late to be being leery of a movement that's already mingled it's self into the MAGA movement because the vast many of it's followers don't recognize their speech.

My last sentence re: prophet and pope is about as much as I care about any of this stuff. It's always the same in that there is a core and then offshoots in many directions, thus the need to ask people to define and explain their terminology so as to try to get to the basics of what they're thinking is.

A couple of excerpts that may explain the phrases I used:

The roots of dominionism are found in the mid-20th century, when Rousas John Rushdoony developed a hermeneutic called Christian reconstructionism. Rushdoony was the son of refugees who fled the Armenian genocide; he became a Presbyterian minister whose views frequently led to conflicts in his own congregation and denomination. Rushdoony went on to found the Chalcedon Foundation to develop and propagate his views on how Christians should live in the world.​

Following Rushdoony, a hyper-charismatic movement known as the New Apostolic Reformation picked up on dominionist theology while jettisoning reconstructionism’s goal of Mosaic law. The NAR teaches that prophets and apostles are essential to church governance. In the NAR, apostles and prophets can receive new revelation from God and give that revelation to their followers.​

I'd rather be trying to figure out Law than contending with how many false prophets we may have to stone.

I wasn't meaning you personally using the phrases I was meaning Republicans in general,I apologize if you thought I was meaning you personally. I'll try to define/explain the terminology I was referring to. I was meaning in general I see people in the forums repeat the things for instance from Mike Johnson about the Constitution. I think it's because he says things about protecting our Constitutional rights which most of us would agree with. Johnson across his career was lead counsel for Alliance Defense Fund and others acting as council in cases regarding the Constitution. He also is part of the group called Convention of States(Mark Meckler) who want to either completely overhaul or do away with the US Constitution. M, Johnson is also NAR.

Which was to be expected. So Kamala and Walz think they can waltz into the White house and destroy America (like Minnesota has been destroyed). Thanks for that breakdown of this evildoers evil deeds. And the Bible says that evildoers and seducers shall wax worse and worse. But God spared Trump for a reason, and he needs to trust the Lord completely at this time.

Then again many will agree with their reasoning in rewriting the Constitution because it gives rights to even sodomites. So if they desire sodomy to be a crime or same sex marriage then the Constitution must go or be rewritten to reflect it.
