We have no indication that the proscription was based on ceremonial, or shadowy, issues. As far as we can determine, all of the forbidden categories are so classified because God wanted His people to be healthy and happy. They simply were not suitable for human consumption, and God told His people not to use them as such.

This conclusion is verified by the findings of modern nutritionists, who have identified many of the "unclean" meats as heavy with deleterious fat or disease elements. In ancient times, God accused His people of destroying themselves for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6), and promised freedom from disease if they followed His laws (Exodus 15:26). Why should we continue the destructive rebellion which marked the course of Israel's past?

We must be reading a different bible, because the Ten Commandments are all throughout.

God called them "My commandments" right in the Ten Exo 20:6

You might want to prayerfully consider reading Rom 7:7 James 2:10-12 Mat 15:3-14 Mark 7:7-13 Mat 19:17-19 Mat 5:19-30 Rom 13:9, Rev 22:14-15 and so forth. There is no scripture that says we can break one of God's commandments- Jesus kept them and taught us to, so for me thats where I place my faith.

Where in the Ten Commandments does it say? ..... "love one another as I have loved you?"

Or .... "Love your enemies?"

You are really needing to wake up and begin walking in the Spirit if you ever wish to please God before you die.

But if you are led by the Spirit,
you are not under the law.

Some years ago I heard tell of an elite Christian bragging to their pastor
that they were a vegetarian just like Man was intended to be back in the
very beginning.

The pastor replied: "Very nearly every one of those vegetarians were
destroyed in the Flood".
_
Good point. Vegetarianism is considered a "doctrine of devils" in 1 Timothy 4:3 (at least the KJV).

Its the Ten Commandments summarized. The summary does not delete the details.

Romans 13:9 For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Love your enemies? Not so.

Jesus had to even clarify that the command he was about to give was not something they were told before...

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.
But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
that you may be children of your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5:43-45

That was a new command not found in the Law.

And... not to mention:

“My children, I will be with you only a little longer. You will look for me,
and just as I told the Jews, so I tell you now: Where I am going, you cannot come.

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must
love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

John 13:33-35

You need to start being honest with yourself.

Stop begging the atmosphere to keep filling you in on some way to spin away the truth to make yourself feel smarter than the rest..

Was Jesus wasteful? Never.

We recall how He commanded the gathering of all the scraps of food following the feeding of the multitudes. On two occasions, Christ specifically ordered that nothing be thrown away. The Scriptures even detail the exact number of baskets of food which were salvaged from the two mountain-side miracle feedings–12 and seven. (Luke 9:17, Mark 8:20
When Jesus was faced by a naked, demon-possessed madman it was unusual that the only time in the Scriptures, Jesus briefly dialogued with the demons who controlled the frenzied victim. When the legion of evil spirits requested to be cast out into a nearby herd of swine, Jesus granted their request. While the nameless man sat at Jesus feet, now fully restored and fully clothed, the herd of 2,000 swine rushed headlong into the sea and drowned.
Why did Jesus precipitate the wholesale destruction of that valuable herd of animals? Was He aware of circumstances which related to the owners and their very un-Jewish occupation as hog-tenders? It seems so. But one thing appears beyond all question; Jesus did not consider the swine to be suitable for food. Would the One who commanded leftovers to be gathered from the feast destroy enough pigs to feed a small army? It is impossible to believe that our compassionate Saviour would needlessly allow such a waste of resource when the hungry and needy were on every side. We can only conclude that Jesus did not view the animals, which His Father had declared an abomination, as acceptable items of diet.

A new commandment...

New to God ? Or new to the People or customs.

God's moral principles do not change.

Are you saying that God taught that we should hate our enemies..

No the people thought, the people taught false teachings and Jesus came to set them straight.

The truth is that God's love does not change.
You are teaching that God changed when Jesus came.
Lev 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.
Deu 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

No where does God say to stop keeping the 10 commandments..

The law was written on paper for the nation of Israel, your correct.

Gentiles were never under the law.

That is why Gentiles are prohibited from circumcision.

The law cannot be obeyed in the flesh.

We are saved by grace and that is not from us.
Because the law is not for Gentiles and can't be kept, can I steal your car, lie, and murder, can I take God's name in vain and justify it as acceptable?

I'm not a gentile... I'm one of God's children.

Rom 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

Seeds of Abraham.

Gal 3:28-29
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

You are so confused that you fell into an outright heresy.

The Gentiles were never told to obey the ten commandments.

The Jews had to keep the ten commandments on pain of death.

You are attempting to Judaize Gentiles and that is a more severe heresy.

Also Paul warned the early Galatian church that gentile Christians who submit to circumcision
will be alienated from Christ: "Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ
will profit you nothing
. And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a
debtor to keep the whole law
. You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be
justified by law; you have fallen from grace." (Galatians 5:2–4).

Attempt to obey one law then your automatically bound to obey the whole law.

You will sin anyway and that is with or without the law.

You can't help yourself.

Confess your sin and that is the only way out.

Beg for forgiveness.

You will lie, hate, steal, judge others, as long as your alive and you cannot stop.

No one can.

Ten Commandments was for the establishment of civil freedom for the newly formed nation of Israel.
Nowhere in the Church age are believers commanded to keep the Sabbath.

Love your enemies was a quote from Proverbs 25:21 and Exodus 23:4-5 - by no means a "new teaching."

Jesus disagrees in Matthew 5:18 - "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled."

Christ does not say it's okay to break the fifth commandment.

If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink.

That speaks of enemies you have occupation over.
Not for those preparing to attack.

Perhaps, but we can only overcome evil with good, never rendering evil for evil (Romans 12:21).

Jesus disagrees in Matthew 5:18 - "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled."

Jesus said that before he was taken to the Cross!

Now? The Law has been fulfilled in Christ on the Cross!

For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh,
God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on
account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous
requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk
according to the flesh but according to the Spirit." Romans 8:3-4

See that?

We now have the Holy Spirit in us... The Spirit whom God wants to enable us to be fulfilling
the requirements Law without having to goose step to all the OT rules and regulations to keep
men preoccupied until the fulfillment arrived!...

"But if you are being led by the Spirit, you aren’t under the Law."
Galatians 5:18
How many saved people are walking in this world half awake?
They get told and believe false teachings, and have no idea what the Word actually tells us.
And, will even fight it with determination when the corrections are given.

Religious flesh is our worst enemy.

In Christ .......... grace and peace

That speaks of your personal one-on-one contact with others. Some will be evil towards righteousness.

On the other hand..

We overcome an aggressive evil nation having belligerent military intent against your people by having a GOOD military.
You do not fight like they fight (evil Hamas for example) but overcome them with righteous capability for warfare as prescribed
in the Bible. The OT is filled with examples of how to fight in a good and right way to protect your loved ones.

When Jesus came did God cast away the apple of His eye? Did God give up on Israel or not? No He gave them probation,
And set conditions to be a child of God.

Israel has not stopped being the nation of God, it was opened to all people and anyone that accepted the truth became an Israelite... we are Israel today and the laws that God gave them in Lev 11 apply today.. no verse states that these laws were removed.

The flesh of the pig has not changed.

God is the creator of man and knows what is best. In eden we were told to eat vegetables and fruit (no meat) they lived to 900. The world was destroyed by a flood. God allowed them to eat meat because there wasn't vegetables available.. but look at the animals that God provided for Noah and his family.

The clean animals.

Gen 7:2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.

It is not just about Israel.. it is for mankind's good. Long before Israel ever existed.

The DNA of the animals has not changed.

Pigs contain 7 times more uric acid, urine in the meat then the clean animals do.
WOW. Noah, prior to the law knew of clean and unclean animals. Well, all this means is im doubling down on keeping the dietary laws.
