Comparative verse, fakes who were doing their own thing expecting to be saved, and somebody with do-nothing faith who says it but doesn't really believe it enough to follow. No, I don't think Christ is talking about maintaining a sinless life after belief, so much as it is an honest effort to try to follow what the bible says as we become aware of it.

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 7

Do you see a danger here for some believers??
It's one of the most misunderstood Bible verses in my opinion. Typically used by Christians against another denomination or "prosperity preachers."

But it actually has more to do with the heart. If you question it for yourself then it doesn't apply to you. Because that person wouldn't care and doesn't care about God.

Brother i believe Jesus came to save anyone who believes the gospel …….

your saying I don’t think God is the one saving us ? Because Jesus said that we have to repent and start obeying him ? Lol

God suffered and shed his blood on a cross to save people and then he told us all about it in his word if you want to be born again thisnis how

“Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. For All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1:22-25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

New life from the dead equals born again by his promises on the gospel and belief
I'm just not sure how to have a conversation with you. 10,000 words to say nothing.

See I'll tell you very plainly what happens when we are born again. When we are born, we are born "in sin". This means that we are born with a dead spirit and disconnected from God. This is how every single person on earth was born, save 1. Jesus was not born "in sin" or "of Adam". How? This is the whole reason for the virgin birth, Jesus was not born of the flesh, or "of Adam". Jesus is born of the Spirit, and how He could live as a perfect man, not disconnected from the Father. This is of course how He could pay for our sin on the cross, His perfect obedience is now applied to us justly. Cool, this is the gospel and the only way to reconcile us to God as we were created to be.

Stage set, now I'm going to tell you what happen to me when I was born again. My dead spirit was brought to life for the first time ever, and it was then reconciled or "reconnected" to His Spirit. To our God.

See this doesn't take 60 walls of text and to post half the Bible to share with people. All those who are saved in truth understand exactly what I'm saying, however a false convert cannot understand this or realize that he's a false convert. Again I'm not at all saying anything about your own relationship with God so please don't think I'm saying this is what you are or anything like that. I just find it kind of weird that you can't seem to sum up your understanding of this truth without diving as deep as you can into exactly what I asked you to please not do in the answer. Seems like a defense mechanism to me, and something I would have likely done when I was a false convert. Again I'm only comparing it to me and my experience of being a false convert, not you at all.

born with a dead spirit hmm alright I guess I don’t think the bible says this anywhere it says mans mind and heart were corrupted and made sinful but …ok

“Jesus was not born "in sin" or "of Adam". How? This is the whole reason for the virgin birth, Jesus was not born of the flesh, or "of Adam"”

Mary was a descendant of adam Jesus was born of flesh and blood.

yea a person own thought never does what your saying is all wrong however when compared to what e bibke actually says so I mean I could just pontificate about what I think born again means but that’s sort of the reason no one agrees because no ones willing to learn what “ born again “ actually means in scripture

And when someone says “ hey look what all thses scriptures tell us about being born again should we believe those ? “

then there’s always someone “ explaining what it really means which never actually touches on anything that’s in scripture

The things the Bible teaches wre all going to prove true , the things we imagine won’t

My belief is to learn what’s really in the scripture and let that be true and how I think about terms like born again which comes from the doctrine in the gospel .

By the way our spirit isn’t dead and replaced Christs spirit comes to be with us to lead us home

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.”

“For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.

It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

These, then, are the things you should teach. Encourage and rebuke with all authority. Do not let anyone despise you.”
‭‭Titus‬ ‭2:11-15‬ ‭NIV‬‬

““Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?

As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.

But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:46-49‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.

For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭1:3-11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,

for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:12-15‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Should we believe these teachings from Jesus and his apostles and think this way regarding our own actions and responsibilities ? Like it teaches the audience tbat reads it or should we reject these things Jesus oaul and Peter taught the Christchurch and say it’s a self works that doesn’t glorify God the right way ?

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Jesus said

““Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live,

and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:28-29‬ ‭NIV‬‬

pul said

“But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed.

God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”

To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.

But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile;

but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭2:5-11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

At some point in our faith we have to start taking steps and acting in it

“You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.

And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend.

You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.

As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.”
‭‭James‬ ‭2:22-24, 26‬ ‭NIV‬‬

its the difference in saying I believe and living like we believe acting upon our beliefs . What if it’s not that God wants us to think “ dont think you need to do what I commanded you you have faith “

But instead he wants us to have faith so we will follow what he said believing him and acting upon it ? Not before we say I believe and he’s the lord but after we say that ?

“This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.”
‭‭Titus‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

What if faith doesn’t mean “now we don’t have to do what God said will save us , Because we have faith now ?

abut it means now I can learn and know Gods will and do what he says will save my soul because I believe him and he’s filled me with his spirit and set me free ?
Sorry brother but you have lost me here.

In a nutshell please?

New life from the dead equals born again by his promises on the gospel and belief
Hey brother,

Being born again is what this life is all about ultimately. My life is now in Christ Jesus (a rebirth in Him), and the old man is dead (although he loves to try and pound his way out of the grave inside me whenever possible). Jesus explained what it means to be "born again" in John chapter 3. Here are a few highlights:

John 3:3

New King James Version

3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born [a]again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should [a]not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

We need to be "born again" to arise from the watery grave as a new creation in Jesus Christ. We can't grasp spiritual things without the power of the Spirit living and working in collaboration with us. It's a team effort. True and lasting belief from my point of view can only come through faith, grace, and the love of God that He provides to us. It's not by our strength - all the thanks and glory goes out to our God!

Did you ever notice this

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:26-29‬ ‭

Do you see how they are born with a new identity ? They aren’t who they were now they are identified as a child of God in his name ?

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭

Born again is a concept soeaking about being made new in spirit heart and mind God promised to make new people of those who were corrupted

“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭36:26-27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Born again is just a spiritual concept it really can be seen throughout it’s about the change that happens the transformation of mknd and heart and spirit

“if so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: that ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”( born again )
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:21-24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Be changed from what we used to be to what we are by fsith

Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.”
‭‭James‬ ‭1:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 7

Do you see a danger here for some believers??
God's way is the way to experience knowing Him and Jesus by being a doer of His character traits, such as in Genesis 18:19, God knew Abraham that he would teach his children and those of his household to walk in God's way by being doers of righteousness and justice that the Lord might bring to him all that He has promised, and in 1 Kings 2:1-3, God taught how to walk in His way through the Torah. In Exodus 33:13, Moses wanted God to be gracious to him by teaching him to walk in His way that he and Israel might know Him. In Jeremiah 9:3 and 9:6, they did not know God and refused to know Him because in 9:13 they had forsaken the Torah, while in 9:24, those who know God know that He delights in being a doer of steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in all of the earth, so delighting in being a doer of God's character traits is the way to experience knowing Him and Jesus, who is the the radiance of God's glory and the exact image of God's character (Hebrews 1:3). In 1 John 2:4, those who say that they know Jesus, but don't obey his commands are liars, in 1 John 3:4-6, those who continue to practice sin by transgression the Torah have never seen or known him, and in Matthew 7:23, Jesus said that he would tell those who are workers of lawlessness to depart from him because he never knew them. So the goal of the Torah is to teach us how experience knowing God and Jesus by being a doer of His character traits, which is eternal life (John 17:3), which is also why Jesus said that the way to inherit eternal life is by obeying its commandments (Luke 10:25-28, Matthew 19:17).

If this was Luke's Gospel I would likely ask you to define "believers" which might be a good thing to do anyway because of the Sower and the Seed Parable in Matthew 13 as it compares to Luke 8.

In Matt13:41 Jesus again speaks of "lawlessness" where He clearly speaks of the tares being the lawless ones.

Matthew also has Jesus speaking of lawlessness in Matt23:28 and 24:12 and each seems to speak of unbelievers. But again, the definition of believers could be questioned based upon Matt24:13.

I think in Matthew it's clear that your referenced verse speaks of unbelievers.

The Kingdom of heaven, the rule of Christ over Israel in the millennium, (as revealed by Daniel 2: 44) is not for the Body of Christ. So, those whom the Lord is speaking to obviously prophesied out of their imagination - false visions. (Jer. 14: 14 etc)

I think you will find that the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God are one and the same thing. The Kingdom is Christ's present reign in the hearts of believers. If you are not in the Kingdom you most certainly are not in the Body of Christ.

However, to Israel when Jesus came on earth the kingdom of Heaven, the rulership from heaven through Israel over the nations was what was promised to them. Jesus came to confirm those promises. (Rom. 15: 8)

The Kingdom of God, was what Gentiles could enter under Israel`s rule.

Exactly right.

Born again believers have NOTHING to fear here.

These people Jesus is addressing put their faith in THEIR works. NOT in Him.

None of them said, "Lord, Lord, did we not trust in YOU, YOUR sacrifice, and YOUR resurrection!".

Jesus tells us the reason they were rejected in verse 23 and it is NOT because they didn’t “trust” in Him. It’s because they did not obey his laws or commandments. 2 John 9 says “ whoever does not abide in the doctrine of Christ DOES NOT HAVE GOD.” It takes the “WHOLE COUNCIL OF GOD” , both trust AND obedience to be acceptable to Him.

Satan preaches a doctrine that appeals to people; saying “you don’t have to do anything but believe.” Just trust God; just say a “sinner’s prayer” ( which is nowhere in the Bible); just believe. He has persuaded men that all works are bad; his doctrine teaches “do nothing.” Which couldn’t be farther from the truth or what is taught in the Bible.
Satan has convinced people that to teach obedience to God’s commandments is “legalism”—-very, very bad!
And once people believe they are saved, then he preaches a “once saved, always saved” doctrine and lures them into a false sense of security. Please study your Bible.

Doesn't verse 23 say He sent them away because He never KNEW them?

Whatever.

Try and Work your way to heaven if like.

No mood to deal with those that don’t put their trust solely in Jesus, and rely on THEIR obedience, and THEIR work to be saved today.

They want to work their way to heaven. They do.

Jesus NEVER knew them. He NEVER made them a new creation. That’s what the “knew” means.

Like Adam knew his wife and she conceived.
