I would agree to that if they understand the trinity doctrine. Obviously the verse of the topic itself bluntly states it. One also has to keep in mind that the trinity doctrine is essential to Christianity because it accurately describes the Bible's outline of God and Jesus' role in the Godhead. If someone rejects the trinity doctrine they are rejecting God and also rejecting the true Jesus; so what is the point then of their baptism? The answer is there is no real point.

Perhaps the parable of the seeds from the same chapter is more applicable to the topic.
Could be: however new life is offered everyone to turn to God and believe God and not quit belief, is the call I now see after many years of standing in belief even though I still sinned and could again , trusting in God's reconciliation, forgiveness given by Son willingly going to death once for everyone to be made new in his risen Life for them by belief to God Father for them.
Col 1:21-123

Sure, and the applicable part here is knowing who is God. Attacking the trinity doctrine is attacking God. You can't turn to God and also attack God at the same time. Can't really be a Christian and deny God at the same time. There is grace offered when you first turn of course you're not going to know everything, but if you stay with God as Colossians states which you cited then you're going to have to accept God for who he is which is accurately described in the trinity doctrine which comes from the Bible. Rejecting the trinity doctrine leads to opening a can of worms such as this where now they are questioning the Bible's veracity and also questioning God which are two very grave errors since all Christianity is premised on 3 beliefs; the belief in Jesus' role (Apostle's Creed), belief in the trinity doctrine describing God (Athanasian Creed), and belief in the Bible as a true document that is also divinely inspired. Many have tried to undermine these three points, and by undermining one point you will go down the slippery slope of undermining the others until you reach the point that you have a wholly different religion.

people will learn to agree with God, those that believe God. the Father of the risen Son, Yashua, People do not and will not agree with each other over each having free will., thinking they know how God thinks, by their interpretations of the Bible, wanting to be leaders. God is love beyond measure to all. Not a few as religion preaches. God went to that cross through Son once for all. ( Hebrews 10:10)
God’s will. Love ( 1 Cor. 13:4-7) that lasts forever verse 13.
‘get that, believe willingly an be born new in God for you too.
let people be, trust God as in Romans 14, deeper than just about food

That's not what the trinity is. The trinity is a doctrine that accurately describes God in accordance to the Bible. You can find a good summary of the trinity in the Athanasian Creed. Many are called, but few are chosen.
