It has been a while since we had one of these threads.

If you were about to get married, what would your fiance(e) need to know?

Any old thing. Do you snore so much you will need a seperate bedroom? Does your dog sleep in your bed, and you can't bear to kick him out? Do you always greet the new day with a loud war whoop? Are you jealously possessive of the avocados you always leave ripening on top of the fridge?

To my darling (fictional, for now) bride to be:

You can wear makeup or not. You can dye your hair or not. You can wear perfume or not. You can shave any part of you that you want to shave, or not. But please don't think it matters either way to me. I'm not marrying your legs or your hair or your face or your smell. I'm marrying you.

Really. Painted on eyebrows and smooth legs and a certain smell and a certain color hair really don't do much at all for me. If you're maintaining any of it for my benefit, please stop. You're wasting your time. If you're avoiding any of it because you think I won't like it, please stop that too. You might love a new hair color.

Also, stay away from my laundry. I wash and dry my clothes the way I want them washed and dried and I don't want anybody else messing around with it. Not even kidding. The first time you dry my clothes with a fabric softener sheet, I will lock up my dirty laundry so you can't mess with it any more. Try me.

Fiancé/fiancée is from French. You can’t skip the acute accent. C’est terrible, très très terrible lol.

It would be mandatory for me to shed some light on my addiction to nicotine and adrenaline. It’s really a dealbreaker usually. Especially the latter one.

Try that on a bluetooth keyboard connected to a phone. I took french in high school when everyone else was taking spanish, but there ain't no accents on this keyboard.

On second thought, never mind. Even if there is a tres facile way to do it, I don't care enough to figure it out. And people know what I mean with or without the accent mark.
