You're making a claim that's not true.
Anyone can search your post history at any time and do specific word searches also.
Now 18 posts show for you when I search the word catholic in relation to your name.
Maybe three of the posts do not have that word in them, so I do not know why they are
included, but quite a few others you use the word multiple times per post.

I never realized that I use that word that many times, I would agree it's most likely that I use the word multiple ttimes in one post. In no way am I supporting Roman Catholicism. I bring them up mainly because that word ties to the creed. Also because they were the first christian institution and have some old practices and concepts I believe are essential for ones faith that were lost in protestantism. I understand that you're upset with me and I'm probably your enemy. So really I'm surprised you didn't find worse stuff than that.I have much worse stuff out there. I'll be the first to admit it.

I would never use the Nicene creed, or any creed, as a test of fellowship. Just because someone can repeat something it doesn't mean they have the Holy Spirit or the fruit of the Spirit. Seems like a pretty shallow way to determine if someone is a brother; and it also makes it easy for someone to think they're in right standing with the Lord when in fact all they have is a piece of paper with words on it.

Well, if you're a trinitarian Christian, then you do accept and believe and follow the nicene creed, that's the whole point I'm making, that we're all unified through the creed, actually, most of your churches will tell you which creed they follow if you look into it. They will also tell you who they're affiliated with. They may even have a confession of faith. People don't do research on their churches. Most people don't understand where the core beliefs of trinitarian christianity comes from , i'm pointing you to it. Now you have non trinitarian Christians and you have Christians that are considered to not follow the core principles of the creed. And in that case they would not be considered as a trinitarian christian. The creed was established to unify all christians in one faith. So yes your required to belive in the creed to become part of the family. You go to any trinitarian Christian church and point out any part of the creed and say you don't believe it.You will not be supported by the pastor and the institution.

It's.
Also , not just some paper with words on it. Its a historical document that established the faith through a council which was a historical event.

Lastly I would like to point out that there's a lot of people that claim to have encounters with the Holy Spirit and will put on a display of the work of the Holy Spirit and it's not actually the Holy Spirit. we are instructed in 1 John to test the Spirits. Thats another thing that's not really practiced in the faith today, people don't test things. They just go along with the institution and what's popular. No wonder why it's becoming more and more worldly and we have more and more issues, no wonder why we're probably gonna lose another half of the christian population within the next twenty to thirty years.

Just so you know the only churches that dont accept the Nicene creed in its entirety who call themselves Christians are the Church of the New Jerusalem, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Jehovah's Witnesses. Other options are those who deny the vergin birth, who dont believe in a triune god head or those who deny jesus as god. Take that for what you will. Wish you well and good luck.

You have mentioned Catholics a lot. Capitalizing catholic (universal) means Roman Catholic (not universal).
Well, first of all, I haven't mentioned Catholic a lot. What I mentioned was catholic means universal because one holy Catholic and apostolic churche is in the Nicene creed. That's the only reason why I brought up Catholic. And I'm clarifying that it's not referring to Roman Catholic. It was shortly after the nicene creed was established, that emperor Constantine came on to the scene. He's the one that ended the war on Christians and established the first Christian institution in Rome, which is now known as the Vatican. Before that, there was no institution, so let me give you a brief history. The institution hijacked the title Catholic and applied it to themselves, mainly because the majority of the people who were following the faith embraced the institution. Because they had the wealth, they have the resources, they had the education, and they also were doing a lot of good in the world. Such as coming against Gnostics, Islam, and Jewdeizers. So let me give you a brief history of the different groups that are involved with this catholic faith. They were first known as Proto Orthodox. We then get east and west, you have coptics, Assyrian church of the east, Armenian, Syraic, Ethiopian Tewahedo. These were all considered as one catholic faith. They split and divided which is what institutions do, due to beliefs on Trinity, and a different dogma's, and saints such as st. Gregory Palamas vs. St Thomas Aquinas. They essentially had to break away from the institution and become independent. Most of the groups now are part of the Asian orthodox, Eastern orthodox, Roman catholic, and eastern catholic such as Bysintine catholic. You now have even more splits do to traditionalists and devout worship not being supported by roam.
There are now 16 individual posts where you mention catholic or Catholic, and like now, you capitalize it, which makes it a proper noun in reference to Catholicism (Roman Catholic). If you mean to say catholic as in universal, you should not be capitalizing the word. Also, some of your usages were clearly about the Roman Catholic faith, and not universal faith.
Wait... Lemme get this straight.

Nufan started a thread about how the meaning of "Christian" has shifted, and how he doesn't want his identity tied to the meaning of the word "Christian" as most people conceptualize the term... And then he did the exact same thing he was complaining about with "Catholic?"

Is this ironic or just hilarious?

I Don't completely understand what you're saying. But I don't want to be referred to as a Roman Catholic, I don't want to be referred to as a Christian. A catholic is fine cause that means universal. I'm also assuming that you don't have good intentions behind this reply.I already know i'm a fool and I say terrible things sometimes.

Again this is the example of the Christian community. They make a big deal over weather you use a capital C or a lower case c for catholic. Look, you guys can laugh at me. You can point fingers, you can make fun. You can say what you want. The numbers don't lie, Christianity is failing. I just threw the stats up for you guys. The second main reason why people are leaving the Christian churches is because of other believers in the church. Congrats, you're killing the Christian faith.

I started out talking in this thread with good intentions. I gave you some good advice in the first page alone.

But then you started shifting what you are complaining about... Over and over.

Then you kept getting bogged down in arguments with people about tangential topics... Over and over.

I gave up trying to be helpful because you're just here to complain and argue. Now I have switched to secondary objectives - have fun and enjoy the show.

(And really, you actually HAVE done exactly the same with with "Catholic" that you were complaining about other people doing with "Christian." If you can't see it, that makes it even more funny.)

Yeah I addressed that. The popularity of Christianity is dwindling fast. Good times usually do that to a religion.

Good news is, the people who are left are almost certainly real Christians, not just people looking for any port in a storm or people going with the flow.

By the way, do you have any idea how many times it has looked like Christianity has been failing? This isn't even the first time in a century. This cycle will repeat until Jesus returns, but there will ALWAYS be a church of His faithful followers somewhere.

No, I'm here discussing relevant issues that aren't being discussed amongst the Christian community because they can't seem to see that they're killing off their own faith. If you can't see that then that is hilarious. I started out presenting some problems and I don't believe I was being Offensive or trying to start an argument.Apparently there's people on here who are sensitive. And aren't thick skinned enough to have an intelligent conversation and aren't transparent enough or humble enough to admit that they have problems within their own community. That aren't being looked at, discussed, and dealt with. And most of the response I got was childish behavior and name calling. This just reconfirms why I wanna have nothing to do with christianity or your church. Also, I'm willing to admit that I made a mistake. And no I don't see what it is you're trying to point out with Catholic?I believe it has something to do with me using the capital c. I don't know. But once I find out what it is you're trying to point out and I see that it's an issue. I will fix the issue.
This doesn't invalidate anything I had to say. There may be some irony and humor in it, congrats, have a good laugh man, enjoy your day.

I'm sorry, but that's not what I've experienced from you or other individuals on this site. I think I may have found a few on here that I could say I would like to get to know but you're not one of them.

I don't wanna hear your cop-out about Jesus returning, so I don't have to take responsibility or deal with the issues going on within the christian community speech. That's just a cop out. Let jesus handle his end and you handle yours. The truth is that christianity is becoming Less popular. There was a time where christianity almost did get wiped out and that's when they had to start letting idiots in to run the church.

Hmm, yes... I checked your post history. Your track record in Bible Discussion Forum indicates there are MANY things you "don't wanna hear." And disagreements are always someone else's fault, and you sure have had a lot of them.

So what caused you to drift over to misc. forum? Were they playing too rough for you over in BDF?

Just so you know 15 million christians left the faith within the last 10 years. Regular church attendance went from 42% to 30%. But guess what, christianity is growing. Just not church attendance. What does that tell you. I suppose god is working it out. Looks like we won't have the christian institutions much longer.

Actually, I didn't really have a whole bunch of people against me in the Bible discussion form. A lot of people actually have good discussions with me.The only person who I had an issue with was one individual and it wasn't just me having an issue with him. It was a lot of people having an issue with him so I don't know what you're talking about.
