Always? I'm pretty sure I've drunk more than I ought and it's not led to any of your conclusions.Here's the problem overdrinking will always lead to 1 or more of 6 conclusions.
1 intoxication leading to vomiting
2 intoxication leading to sexual promiscuity and possible side effects stds etc.
3 intoxication leading to injury (major wipeout down a flight of stairs)
4 intoxication leading to death (you and your buddies driving home impaired and get in an accident causing death)
5 intoxication leading to other types of intoxication (drugs)
6 intoxication leading to alcoholism (very bad trust me)

No, there are more options than that, and some of them aren't so terrible. Off the top of my head, here's another one:

If you were 21 or older, I'd say no, but being that you're under age yes he does. Is it going to send you to hell? Of course not. Drinking in itself is not bad, but getting drunk is and drinking underage is.
I think it is wrong in the sense that when you drink you do a lot of stupid things. If you take it too far and your not in the right set of mind you can make a lot of stupid mistakes that you will probably regret later.God is a God of order not confusion.Most teenager like drinking because it gives them courage to do things that they would not normally do.It can become addicting.I do drink wine once in a while with my husband on a special occacion.
God has our best interest in mind if he say not to get drunk than he knows what his talking about.

One cannot prove simply by the term whether or not the wine Jesus made from water was alcoholic. Nor can we prove that the communion cup was alcoholic. The distillation of spirits, etc. today is not the same as it was 2000 years ago. Besides we have many more choices today for beverage than did they.
Age has nothing to do with drunkeness. A states or countries laws pertaining to the legal age for alcohol consumption vary greatly.
I referred to the effects of intoxication and it's very negative side effects.
I understand about being young and curious all too well.
It is only when your older or have gone through struggles like this and triumphed that you can truly see what damage is done by drunkenness. As I sometimes say "how would you know the light if you never seen the dark"

very trulyActually grape juice in any form will ferment if it was not pasteurized, and they did not have access to pasteurization back then. So it's pretty safe to assume that unless they squeezed the grape juice 10 minutes before the Last Supper that it was indeed alcoholic.

I'm not at all advocating excessive drinking or drunkeness, I'm merely trying to be honest and accurate by saying that drunkeness isn't always as catastrophic as you suggest it is.I've been around alcoholics all my life and it's not till your outside the box looking in that you realize the error of your your ways..............OH YEAH and FYI I'm a reformed alcoholic so don't misconstrue my message to make yourself feel better or because you feel I'm being too rigid in my post
