I want small government but not only at the federal level. I would like small government on state level as well. We don’t have that in Texas now.

@Nehemiah6 is Canadian. He doesn’t know what small government is.
Whoa, now you are bordering on treason.

Because I don’t let a foreigner tell me what to think? Or because I don’t support the current Texas administration? Pick your choice.
I've got no idea how it works, only that if you say Nehemiah6 doesn't know what he is talking about that will be considered treason.

Wow, double Wow! Biden picked vice president Trump (I think he meant Harris based on the context) because she is qualified to be Vice president but she is not qualified to be president!

Doesn't he understand the point of the VP is they become President in the event he dies? That is the point of choosing her!

"Name me a world leader that wouldn't want to change places with our economy?" Joe Biden.

I agree with this, they do want to change places, that is what is driving us towards WWIII

Later in the debate he said he chose VP Harris because he felt she would be ready to go on day 1 as president if necessary. So either I misheard him or he misspoke.

So I am going to say this is half my mistake and half his. Ignoring the obvious gaffe by saying he picked vice president Trump, he said "I wouldn't have picked VP Trump to be VP blrrr Do I think she is not qualified to be VP."

He blurred out "If I didn't"

Biden is so delusional at this point there's no hope for him. He's stumbling noticeably and even the reporters were asking if he planned on being tested again. Just sad. And I am betting he walked off stage thinking he just knocked it out of the park tonight. So much denial it's reached full blown "red alert."

You know nothing about me, and I would wager that I know more about Texas than you do!

While I now live in Canada, I have gone to graduate school in the States, and have lived and worked in the USA for many years after that. I have also traveled through many States.

I ,was on the verge of taking American citizenship but moved to Canada. So I am very familiar with the American Constitution and the Pledge of Allegiance (which has now been discarded by all the politicians). But many of my immediate family members are still living in the USA. However I am glad I am not living in Biden's nightmarish America at present.

What do you really know about Canada? While Justin Trudeau is an absolute disgrace to Canada, and is only kept in power by the Communist NDP party, his dad -- Pierre Trudeau -- for all his faults helped to craft an excellent Canadian Constitution, as well as the Charter of Rights and Freedoms in that Constitution. All Americans should read this document. to see that it compares very well with the US Constitution.
Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms (canada.ca)

Justin Trudeau almost succeeded in taking away those freedoms recently and he is still at it. But I am sure you know nothing about how Preston Manning tried to bring good governance to Canada many years ago. Had the Reform Party remained strong, and continued, Canada would not be what it has become under Trudeau -- a Biden clone.

This is why it is so important to introduce articles of impeachment for the Supreme court because one of the justices wives flew a flag outside her home appealing to heaven for help.
Are you serious, or just as delusional as AOC? Or are you simply being sarcastic? No. what needs to happen is that AOC and all "the Squad" members need to be arrested and locked up, since they are in fact enemies of America. The Constitution does mention "domestic enemies".

"Domestic Enemies (to the U.S. Constitution) are those who manipulate the law or lawmakers to violate the Founder’s intent, remove their safeguards, distort, circumvent, or in any way threaten the Constitution, threaten sovereignty, infringe upon state and individual rights, usurp authority, advance tyranny, or provide immunity or pardons for such."

I think Pro-Life Conservative Christian DeSantis, who signed a 6 week heartbeat abortion ban, was and is miles better than Trump. I hope he gets in by 2028. I'm not enthusiastic about Trump, because Trump is moving away from conservatism and back to the time when he was a liberal pro-choice democrat. He chose porn slut Amber Rose to speak rather than Pro-Life Lila Rose. He is in grave error, and there likely won't be much progress on the life issue in the next 4 years. Still, it would be fine to support him, and then push him to sign at least a 15 week federal ban on Abortion if possible. Then, if DeSantis as a Real Conservative becomes Prez in 2028, 6 week bans and better will come, and real progress on life will be possible.

Arrest AOC? For what? For pushing the Green New Deal that is scamming trillions from Americans? Since when has a politician been arrested for pork barrel politics? You are the one who sounds delusional. If you steal $100 from 711 that is a crime that they will throw you in jail for. But if a politician steals $1 trillion then that is something that makes you invaluable to the party. Just look at FTX, how many politicians did they arrest over that?

Besides she is a hero from Jan 6th. Have you not heard her riveting story of how she was terrorized as they came storming into the bathroom demanding to see AOC? That mob was only a half mile away. That is a lot closer than a mile away which is how far the Whitehouse is from them. When I listen to the story about that cop coming to lead her to safety, it almost brings a tear to my eye.

Also, do you have any idea how many distraught gen z's there will be if you arrest AOC and she can no longer do her videos on how to apply makeup?

Pierre is definitely not in the same category as Maxime Bernier. He would need to be a lot stronger and more consistently conservative.

Here is the People's Party of Canada (Bernier is the leader) no-nonsense stand on immigration: "The primary aim of Canada’s immigration policy should be to economically benefit Canadians and Canada as a whole. It should not be used to forcibly change the cultural character and social fabric of our country. And it should not put excessive financial burdens on the shoulders of Canadians in the pursuit of humanitarian goals".

Poiievre simply dodged the real issue and went off on a tangent about housing and international students: "He said a Poilievre government would apply a “mathematical formula” that links population growth to the growth in the supply of housing. “It’s the only way to eliminate the housing shortage — adding homes faster than we add population,” he said." Housing is not created by governments.

All right we got us a bet going here! Yeehaw! Unlike you I do not presume to know more about Texas than Susanna, though I did live there for ten years. I lived in Houston for four, the DFW area for 18 months and the rest of the time in the oil patch in West Texas.

Also, unlike you I have been to all fifty states.

So let's go @Susanna we got us a good ole wager going here.

They say that people know nothing about the place they are from themselves. So I guess @Nehemiah6 knows Texas best hence he’s being from Canada. After all there are many places in west Texas I’ve never been to. Can’t say I’ve ever been to panhandle Texas either lol.
