Somehow I think I’ll survive being on your ignore.

Probably a better option for you than answering the question.

I’ll try once more.

Why did YOU get saved, er a “human spirit”, and others not?

Are you smarter, more moral, more humble than they?

At least be honest with yourself, even if your pride prevents you from answering here.

KJV+ King James Version
John 16:13: "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come."

KJV+ King James Version
John 8:47: "He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God."

KJV+ King James Version
Mat 7:15-20: "Beware of false prophets (and those bearing new doctrines), which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them."

KJV+ King James Version
1Jn 4:6: "We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error."

Some of the classic signs of a wolf in sheep's clothing are, unable to see, hear, or receive the overwhelming truths presented in God's word, deflecting, diverting, and ignoring, and the like.

Why?

Because one was a tax collector.

The other was a pharisee, or just loved his or her sin more so would not come to the cross.

Its not rocket science

who went home justified?

I mean, this is pretty much just what I'm talking about. The man who humbled himself went home justified. Who would debate that? The unanswered question is WHY did he humble himself? WHY did he know he couldn't offer anything to God?

I'll try asking you.

Are you somehow better, more moral, more humble, more intelligent than other people that DON'T humble themselves or figure the Truth of the Gospel?
WHO, revealed this Truth to you?

Matthew, tells us a lot of people think a lot of different things about Jesus.

13 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?”
14 So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”

Today, a HUGE chunk of humanity STILL believe a lot of things about Jesus.

1. He doesn't exist.
2. He existed, but just as an unimportant historical figure.
3. He was a preacher and a prophet, but NOT the Son of God.
4. He was the Son of God, but NOT God Himself.
5. He was the Son of God, but He didn't rise to life after death.

and on and on.... of errors and UNREVEALED Truth about Jesus.

But not ONLY does Peter tell us who Jesus is, but Jesus Himself tells us EXACTLY how Peter came by this knowledge:

15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven."

I don't understand why we can't simply give God total, 100% credit for bringing us to Him, giving us the faith to believe Him, and ultimately the ONLY One responsible for saving us?

"Do you still beat your wife?"

If you are only looking at the discussion from solely your perspective, I can see why you'd think that.

I unreservedly apologize for not diffusing sooner.

Maybe because it removes responsibility of man and his ability to respond to the Truth of the Gospel message.

It’s easy, I went through it myself. God brought me to my knees.I had no place else to go. I was at the end.

I wa not better than anyone else. I considered myself worse than anyone else.

I'll try asking you.

If you would listen you would know

this is a nonsensical question.

Amen, God revealed it to me

All i did was listen, and not hide it in my heart. God has that power. Do you believe that?

I don't understand why we can't simply give God total, 100% credit for bringing us to Him, giving us the faith to believe Him, and ultimately the ONLY One responsible for saving us?
I give him 100% credit. Why do you claim i do not?

He get 100% credit for bringing me to him,and he gets 100% credit when people do not come to him.

We can;t blame God because people reject him.. Although satan wants you to.

so why do you blame God because they would not come? God said they hid the truth in their hearts. So God gave them over to their depraved mind.. He did nto keep the truth from them, they rejected the truth.

Yes. I think this is exactly right, and what people think.

But this thought is human intellect trying to decipher the Mind of God.

Reminds me of a video I saw on if God created evil. I mean if God created everything, then by default He must have created evil. This exchange has been credited to Albert Einstein. Not sure if that's true, but it reveals the same human mindset with deductions like " If God chose some, He by default rejected others.

Except for the fact that scripture makes "belief/trust" in Jesus and His work as a condition for receiving the gift of salvation.

I'll go with God's requirement.

Some Christians think God sends people to Hell because God chose not to save them....
They refuse to realize how weird they sound.

And, if we are allowed to chose to believe? That some how makes us arrogant....

Someone has beaten them down into a false sense of humility and they ironically become proud about it.

Right again!

But we can ONLY receive that gift of Salvation by belief/trust, because of the requisite faith, He gave us.

So no matter how far down we dig it's ALWAYS God that is there.

How is this so widespread now it is really sad how the Gospel has become so mangled.

Go back for 40 years or so, it was well understood that a person could be persuaded by the truth of the Gospel message, that the message itself was powerful and people could be persuaded and believe/trust in Christ Jesus.

We are not arrogant we uphold the moral responsibility and ability of each individual to believe when presented with the Gospel, rather than the zombification of Calvinism, yes I said it, lol

Cold exists... darkness exists...

What they are is is another matter.

If cold did not exist we would not have the word cold to describe that something is cold...

These are mind games that becomes counter productive.

Another example ...

God creates disasters as a form of judgment.
King James called such disasters "evil." Therefore, some claim God created evil.

Lump on a log thinking....

We have had WOKE thinking in theology as well in today's human interrelations.
Satan knows how to get in and confuse and scatter those whom he wishes to dominate over.
His best representatives are those who grew up feeling inferior to others, who craved for a reason to have self esteem
by thinking they now have the superior way of seeing things...

Someone needs to say it.

We disagree again, faith is being persuaded something is true and yes people have the moral capacity to be persuaded.

Yes I agree, I have noticed this "temperament/personality" profile amongst those who feel they have been chosen.

There is published information on this as well.

Agree, "white" is a word we use to describe the absence of color, the absence of color is a real thing.
