Can Democrats Just Dump Biden And Move On? It’s Not That Simple

https://thefederalist.com/2024/06/28/can-democrats-just-dump-biden-and-move-on-its-not-that-simple/

And that brings us to the real problem for Democrats: Kamala Harris. They know she’s political kryptonite because she’s both incredibly stupid and extremely unlikeable. Democrat voters can’t even stand her. So if they manage to get rid of Biden both as nominee and as president, they end up stuck with her, which might even be worse than doing nothing. Do they really want to be in the position of preventing the first female president from running as an incumbent? And can they sideline her while promoting another white dude like Gavin Newsom when their entire party is built around identity politics?

So the predicament for Democrats right now is they have to somehow find out how to get rid of Biden as the nominee, keep him as president, and prevent the black woman who is currently vice president from being the nominee. I don’t think it’s a needle they’ll be able to thread without resorting to violence and republic-destroying tactics.

Now, they could just reap what they’ve sown, accept the consequences of their choices, and accept losing an election for once — but I’m not holding my breath.

The debate was a debacle for Biden.
Kamalatov was supposed to be the poison pill. But now it is clear that she ended up poisoning the well. Right now it appears as if all political reshuffling is going to only go from bad to worse.

This is good.....:sneaky:

Those two old men are dependent on each other. Biden can only beat Trump, and Trump can only beat Biden.
Sometimes an expression sounds clever... but is it really logical?

"Biden can only beat Trump."
1. Can he?
2. The polls and demographic breakdowns don't seem to indicate he can beat Trump.
3. Sheer panic from the democrat establishment, screaming of replacing Biden, because of CERTAIN FAILURE, doesn't seem to indicate he can beat Trump.

"Trump can only beat Biden."
1. Is that true?
2. He already drove all the Republican candidates out of the race... all of which, btw, are more cognitively aware than Biden.
3. And Biden will almost certainly be replaced... so you'll get to test this part of your thesis.

Conclusion:
Part of your thesis is provably false (the calls to replace Biden, and his impending removal verify this), and the other part of your thesis may or may not be false, but will be tested when Biden is removed.

There is no end to the evil attacks on Trump from the Left. It began well before 2016, and never stopped. Recently those attacks became even more virulent. And Jake Tapper should have been told to stay home. He hates Trump with a passion (as they all do) and has called him "Hitler" many times.

But do you think that the evil Democrats will let this go, and let Trump have the presidency? Not if you examine their track record. They will try every evil way to block Trump until there is actually a civil war and bloodshed on the streets. They want that happen.

And all of this could have been avoided had Mike Pence done what was right for America and for Trump. But then the Marines and Special Forces should have stepped up and arrested Biden and Harris for treason and election theft and fraud. These vaunted forces went all over the world "protecting" freedom and democracy, then refused to act when their own country was in extreme danger of a Bolshevik revolution. That is very sad and a serious indicted of these soldiers.
Right, I mean the Hitler thing is pretty cliche at this point anymore. Though this is what I was meaning really in terms of them making this fake illusion not just about Biden's strength but really about Trump's intentions too. That's where not only was it good that Trump went on the offense, but he played good defense too and showed that he's not going to be some sort of lunatic dictator, but he's going to be a real president that is trying to actually fix America.

lol, yep they'll push Biden out to the podium in a wheelchair if they have to because it's just exactly the same to camp blue as it is to camp red they are going to vote for their party regardless of the issue.

They could both go for a yellow horse for candidate and things would still be the same.

Yep if the whole story was swapped and Biden was convicted of 34 felonies, dating porn stars,,ect.ect. the blue people would be saying the same stuff and on election day still vote team blue. If Trump was 82 and hobbeling around and stringing along sentences they would do and say the same things and vote for him on election day.

I've been listening to top Democratic leaders/strategists for months, and they have been firmly committed to Biden without any doubts. If something major happens to Biden, Harris is next in line for them (God forbid she ever becomes our president...).

For them to waver after last night's debate would surprise me, and I don't see any other Democratic candidate stepping in at this point to put a band aid on this laceration.

I dont know how people were able to sit through that whole thing. Two expired old geezers rambling and barely making sense. Is this the best America has to offer seriously? Why can't we get anyone younger?

I had no problem understanding what Trump was saying. What did you miss?
