Hey Everyone,
Let's all bring out our inner Karen's today and talk about things that just didn't go our way!
In your post, please share:
1. What you expected: Tell us about a product, situation, social interaction (a date, meeting, volunteer work, etc.) that you had high hopes for.
2. What you actually got: How did this product, situation, or interaction go horribly wrong?
3. What was your result: How did the results make you feel? Did you go out and try something else because of it?
4. End your post with: I want a refund!
Example:
1. What I expected: I wandered into Lynx's "Would you ever eat...?" thread expecting a fun, lighthearted thread about various types of foods.
2. What I got: a detailed, terrorizing description of the cooking and cannibalization of several beloved characters from Winnie the Pooh -- Tigger was being slow cooked, Roo was turned into a rotisserie chicken, and the Heffalumps were all baked into a pie!
3. Result: extreme trauma and loss of my childhood.
Conclusion: I WANT A REFUND!!!
Ok, now it's your turn!
* What are some things in life that you wish could be taken back like a bad meal at a restaurant?
I'd like to hear all about the times you wish you could speak to the manager and demand, "I want a refund!!"
