The second death means death, not suffering forever and ever and ever.
Matthew 13:42 They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth...this is what your looking for

Revelation 20:13
And the sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and hell gave up their dead that were in them; and they were judged every one according to their works.

This verse is actually talking about the time of the 7th trump when Jesus returns. And yep, they will be cast into that Lake of Fire at the end of the Millennium.

This is at the end of the Millennium. The Great White Throne Judgment awaits, and those who don’t make it will be cast into the Lake of Fire, the Second Death.

I dont see them being taken from torment there just a time of final judgment. Be blessed my friend.

You're funny. Even English doesn't seem to support much of what I'm reading around here! I've hardly had to refer to the original language. And I doubt you'd accept even 2,000 reasons ;)

Will take a look. Long thread, huh?
No, I wouldn't because I'd come up with at least that many to show how the Reformed Traditions of the Faith are quite consistent with biblical truth.

who told you to write this dribble?

not only does it not represent anything I have stated, but takes what I have stated and twists it to mean other than what I have stated

I guess you have no mirrors in your house. it would be hard to look yourself in the eye and try to believe you have done all you could to honor truth and hold others above yourself as the Bible requires
it is indeed dribble only to those who are spiritually dead.

1Co 2:14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

no duck here; only a redeemed saint of God

however you do exhibit that spirit of Calvin that desires most of humanity to go to hell quite well

I am just not going to bother to other of your diatribes; I see most others have already left off where you are concerned (which may be why all your vitriol seems to be directed at me)

you cannot discuss other than with insults and you have refused to address any scripture from anyone that disagrees with both your attitude and presentations other than to ignore it while stating it does not exist

at this point, I am wondering if you were not one of the Calvinists who had been banned a fews years back because of the way other forum members were addressed by them. would not surprise me at all. others here lean towards the reformed position without giving the impression they would like to murder the person who does not believe as do they.

some things needs to be chilled so they do not spoil, but in this case, even freezing would not improve the texture of your retorts
once again you bring forth absolutely no arguments from Scripture and simply resort to libel and slander, only proving you have no valid arguments to make.

If you are trusting in your free will or have faith in your faith rather than trust in the person and work of Christ which is granted by grace alone to the elect then you are not yet redeemed for God resists the proud who think they can contribute anything to their salvation and only gives grace to those who know they can not do so and by grace cling only to Him.

I don't see any reference to "confessing with the mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord" or "believing in one's heart that Christ rose from the dead" in any of those quotes. Are "saying" and "confessing" always the same thing? "Confessing with the mouth" is always "saying", but "saying" is not always "confessing with the mouth".
"You are the Holy One of God" is not per se a confession that "Jesus is Lord."
i understand what you saying and i suppose it is a valid point but when Jesus admittedly is describing many who will be believers and operate in the power and authority of the Name yet will be turned away on the basis that Jesus “never knew” them. I think the greater point I wanted to make was that the New Testament is always still referring to those same “sheep” prophecied of in the OT Jesus says “i am sent only unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel” One of those quotes which reinforces that what was prophecied of Jesus was a specific purpose accomplished in the ministry of his first advent and what remains prophetically of the second advent is still exclusive to the same people the new covenant was made spoken of in Jeremiah 31, “the house of judah and the house of israel”

if we read the NT scriptures out of context and personalize the audience to be everyone and anyone who reads it, we are then in conflict with all that has been prophecied and by “writing in” the whole of the inhabitants of the earth we now make ourselves false prophets speaking of things that have not been prophecied yet believing in a fulfillment of our own imaginations. At the very least it harms the posterity of supernatural nature of the living word of God which never stands in conflict with itself.
