Saul of Tarsus was not saved on the road to Damascus.

Again, God did not create David's heart but He certainly choose it among many.

David was anointed king as a young boy not as you imply: "Why didn't God immediately make David king? Because He was changing Him into the type of king God chooses."

God did not create a heart in David and then chose that heart.

You are simply making this up.
Is God creating a heart in Christians He is conforming to the image of Christ?

Keep going...verse 13...for it is God who is at work in you, willing and doing of His good pleasure...
We are to work out what God is working in.

To be sure, a Christian has responsibilities before God, but it doesn't add to grace. When we do improve what God has given to us, He gives us more. It's what the story of the talents is dealing with.
Verse 13 does not negate verse 12.

This is scripture.

This is not about grace or talents. You are simply mudding up the waters.

Paul did not write verse 13 in order to contradict verse 12. There is nothing in verse 13 that changes Paul's command for us (not God) to work out our salvation in fear and trembling.

Working out salvation first requires that you have salvation.

Bringing up such prattle will not change the word of God. Nothing you are bringing up changes anything about this issue.

David had a heart after God's own heart. God did not create this heart He simply chose it.

We are commanded to work out our salvation.

You cannot accept this so you mindlessly chatter away.

You are not dumb as you imply but certainly confused.

ASV 1st Corinthians 14:33
for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,
Fortunately we have you as the “wise” one among us all. Yet, nowhere in all your wisdom to us lowlings do you ever talk about Jesus’ presence or power, or anything beyond salvation.

I think what confounds the “wise” is people’s experiences. The wise super-biblical bullet shooters can’t argue against experiences, even though they will try and say “That didn’t happen (to you)” or “Show me a scripture on your experience”

Chapter and verse? Third time asking. Or did you make that up?
Sorry but I did not notice your question since your posts seem to be mostly colorful signs. But if you desire, I answered the question on Post# 46 sometime ago.

Again, how does this change what the scripture state?

Have you no defense for your beliefs other then quoting generalities?

Post #46 says nothing about Paul's sins coming into contact with the blood of Jesus (not physical blood) at water baptism.

Do you have a book chapter and verse that says Paul's sins came into
contact with the blood of Jesus (not physical blood) at water baptism?

The blood of Christ washes away our sins.
Paul's sins were washed away at Acts 22;16.

What more is there to say?

I suppose if you were an honest person you would admit that there is no verse saying that Paul's sins came into contact with the blood of Christ at baptism.

Personal claims of experiences do not confound me.

They are used only after a person realizes their is no biblical backing to their theology.

I do not address "claims" of experiences or "claims" of esoteric knowledge.

There is no need for either if your message is biblical.

I am more then willing to admit that in the Bible there is no verse that uses the exact verbiage: "Paul's sins came into contact with the blood of Christ at baptism".

Is this the admission you are looking for?

Sounds like you're stuck in a rut if you can't accept Scripture unless it's in black & white small print. Perhaps you need to expand your boundaries a little bit.

Im talking about biblical experiences. What experiences are you talking about? I’m curious if you’ve had any such experiences such as a salvation or biblical spiritual experiences.

I reread your post#107.
You simply wrote "experiences" so I replied as such.

So, what is the difference between experiences and biblical spiritual experiences?

Them who follow the law on this board just dont get it

Mathew 23:25
Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.
We all follow a "law".

Most follow a law of their own understanding and sensibilities.

Others follow the Biblical Law of God.

James 1:25 and 2:12
New International Version

But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.

Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom,

So yes Shilohsfoal I do most certainly follow the law. The law of liberty.

Which law do you follow or are you one of the lawless?

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way.

Your comment seems to imply you follow no law.

I guess. Not sure how debating this brings spiritual progress in gaining ground for breakthrough in people’s lives. “Hey everyone, let’s go back and nail down square one.”
Discussing this is crucial. Many bypass the required foundation and run headlong in pursuit of ministry. Remember, the individuals in Matthew Chapter 7 were totally shocked to hear Jesus say, I never knew you. (verse 23) Immediately afterward Jesus said those who hear His SAYINGS and DO THEM are wise.

The account of Paul's conversion lines up with the foundation message presented at Pentecost. He believed in Jesus, repented, received the Holy Ghost, and was water baptized in the name of Jesus for remission of his sin. (Heb 6:1-2, Acts 2:38) Afterward he went straight out and preached Jesus.

"He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock." Luke 6:48

Notice the parallel concerning what Jesus said about SEEING and ENTERING the kingdom, (John 3:3-5) and Paul's experience. Paul received the Holy Ghost and submitted to water baptism in the name of Jesus. (Acts 9:17-20, 22:15-16)

Acts 9:17-20
"And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.
And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God."

Acts 22:15-16
For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
