I have noticed that certain types of people are drawn to certain musical instruments. That is why I swore not to get involved with a violinist. And my obvious instrument is the bassoon. Whimsical. Deep. Never taken seriously. But has a hidden beauty most people, and certainly not the instrument itself, can't see. The clown in the orchestra and placed safely in the background.

If you were an instrument, which and why?

Hmm... I like the saxophone. But it's purely a lead instrument, one that makes a statement. That's not me.

The guitar would be nice to be. It can be background or lead, depending on what the song is and where it should be in the song.

I think I am a drumset. I like to riff on existing conversations more than starting and directing discussions. After all the other instruments have played their part in the conversation I add a little drum fill at the end before we move to the next verse.

I think I would unfortunately be a washboard, a defective one actually. My favorite instrument is the guqin though. It has a very interesting sound to it.
