The social contract is being dismantled slowly but surely and you should be concerned.
I think that saying only applies to people who have lived a comfortable life. I grew up always expecting to be homeless if I survived past 18 years of age. Now I'm 36 and living the most comfortable I ever have by renting a room with my cousin lol. A peaceful and secure life has never been on my mind. I always expect things to get worse in life. I mean, there have been 2 or 3 drive-by shootings in the last 2 weeks on my street. Someone got murdered in the apartment complex behind my house the month before last and I heard the shots. All the towns I've lived in have been big drug zones and it's only getting more rampant as time goes by. It doesn't matter who I vote for, those things won't change. Besides, we all know how the world ends. Things will get worse, not better.
