Actually.....yes you are right. Those verses were poorly chosen.

Why? I am busy working right now. Multi tasking.
Me too, but I can do so without impugning someone's character.

How do you stop your ears?
It means you were hearing to choose to stop hearing.
So they were hearing.
In that context it would mean to hear with comprehension. I see... that
also denotes comprehension. It has nothing to do with eyes per se.

When something falls on deaf ears, it is not that they heard nothing.

Hearing with an uncircumcised heart.
Everyone first hears with an uncircumcised heart. Every example shows they were uncircumcised when they first heard.

Acts 2:38 they were making fun of those in Upper Room. Uncircumcised heart but 3,000 were saved.

They resisted the Gospel being preached.
So not everyone who hears believes.
No kidding. God isn't working in every heart. But where He is busy circumcising hearts, people do respond.

Here is something "chosen" just for you @Cameron143
I know that you believe that the Lord Jesus is NOT COMING any time soon, if ever.
And I say to you......beware.

Mat 24:48
“But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,

Mat 25:5
“But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

Mat 25:19
“After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.

Not so.
Again, you don't understand the condition of the natural man. The heart of man governs his thoughts and actions...out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Unregenerate man is always opposed to God...he has enmity towards God. When the Spirit circumcises a heart, that heart no longer is opposed to God. It gravitates to God just as Adam gravitated toward God before the fall. But look what happens directly after sin. Adam hides from God.
In salvation, God fixes what was broken by Adam's sin.

So you say that God has chosen before birth who to save with no real free choice to be made? Busy circumcising and saving some, while abandoning others to damnation?

The Bible shows 3,000 years of unnatural men who followed the Law. So stop saying we do not understand when God gives us 3,000 years of history about it!!

Of course Jesus will return. But Jesus was talking to 1st century Jews. Jerusalem would shortly be destroyed. They had every reason to be on high alert.
Yet another feeble attempt to disparage. I'll give you one thing...you are consistent.

Two career criminals beside Christ at the crucifixion. Great signs as wonders surround Him that afternoon.
Both witness this great spectacle. Both know of the gospel message.

One says yes to the offer of salvation given by Lord Jesus, one says no.

Which one did God save before being born?

They didn't keep the law. If they had they wouldn't have gotten into so much trouble.

There is far more to keeping the law than outward observance.

When? What is your estimate?

Because according to all that you have posted, its either thousands of years, millions, or never.

He placed any person who ever gets saved into Christ.

I have no idea. But it won't be anytime soon. Heaven is populated by a number no man can number. That many people haven't even come into the world, let alone get saved.

Absolute nonsense.

Luk 1:6
And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
