I disagree with your eschatology. Last I checked, Jesus is holding the keys to death and hell. He's building His church and the gates of hell are impotent against His onslaught. But your post serves as an excellent reminder of how bad understanding of scripture can lead to faulty conclusions.

Sublimation is the name of a specific printing technique. The dye in the ink changes
from solid to gas, embedding itself into the print material for a lasting image.

and a specific affiliation can be assigned to every president from James A. Garfield on.

But it was easy enough to find out about what is called the sublimation printing process.

Sublimation design refers to a permanent application of a design using special ink and a heat process
to adhere or embed the design on or into almost any surface. It is a scientific process where heat is
used to turn a solid into gas, skipping the liquid stage. It is a preferred method of image transfer
because unlike other printing methods that attach your design over the top of a surface, sublimation
printing embeds your dyes on a deeper level, creating vibrant designs that won’t crack or peel off.

Herein lies the root of problem. The Bible states no such thing.

Far more destructive thought than that picture will ever be.

Completely tragic and flawed understanding of scripture.

The freedom to love and marry who they want? The freedom to read what they want? The freedom to sin if they want?

I don't like the idea of people freely sinning, but again, show me where Jesus petitioned Rome to have such activity outlawed.

Every thinking person has that. You set yourself up as an authority and your credentials come from yourself. That's why an earlier poster said you have deluded yourself. Your characterization of Christians is incorrect.

Why is it only the right that offers Jesus any consideration at all? Is the left more cognizant of, and therefore, more observant of, political and religious lines? Is it such a hard line in their regard? In saying to religion that "ye shall only come so far" itself seems, to me, to exert the state's power beyond the purposes of the intents of that demarcation.

The man depicted as Jesus (by wearing the crown of thorns and the central cross beneath) is holding the flag close during His suffering, as if the flag is giving Him strength, or as if He is suffering for the flag (possibly both). Both are nonsensical blasphemy (Jesus is God and needs no strength from His Creation, and He certainly didn't suffer for the US flag or even only the US people - "for God so loved the world"), although Freemasons might like us to believe in the idea that God is subject to the politics of man.

However, note Jesus' response to Joshua in Joshua 5:13. If ever God was on a nation's side, we would expect it to be Israel (that is, the real Israel in the Old Testament, rather than a nation claiming to be Israel today). But when Joshua spoke to Jesus - "Art thou for us, or our enemies?" - note Jesus response - "Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come." And note Joshua's response to this - he fell on his face to the earth, and did worship.

I think it's good to support a political party that is promising or promoting to do good (e.g. Trump over the Democrats), as I also believe it is good to refrain from the political process for those so convicted, but we must remember it is Christ who saved us - we are on His side and He is our Captain, and not seek to embark on yet another "holy" war or crusade trying to enlist God to support our causes.

I'm not saying anyone here is doing this, but I am saying this is what the picture represents - government or political affiliation over God.
