Jesus said no one knows the day or the hour. This weekend I heard someone misquote that saying "no one knows when or where"! Jesus never said that. Whenever Jesus said "no one knows the day or the hour" He also said "watch therefore". We have been given prophecies telling us what to watch for and as a result we will see the day approach. Jesus rebuked those in Israel for not knowing the day of their visitation.

1. The Magi were taught by Daniel what the signs in the heavens would be at the time of Jesus birth based on the prophecy by Balaam. The Bible told the religious leaders where Jesus would be born.

2. Daniel gives us the year that Jesus was crucified.

3. John the Baptist told us several years earlier that He was the lamb of God. You might have been able to deduce at that time He would be crucified on Passover and also know the year. That would have given you the both the when and the where.

4. About six months prior to being crucified Jesus told the Pharisees they had committed the unforgivable sin in proclaiming that the people healed by Him were being healed by Beelzebub. They asked for a sign that God had proclaimed this judgement on them that would not be revoked. He told them they would get the sign of Jonah. Exactly 40 years later on the 9th of Av in 70 AD the temple was destroyed, most likely this judgement came exactly 40 years to the day from when Jesus gave it.

5. Jesus death and resurrection was like Jonah being spit up by a fish. After Jonah was spit up it was a half days journey into the city of Nineveh where he began to preach for repentance. About a half year later from the crucifixion was the Feast of New Wine, the 8th of Av, which I believe was when Pentecost really was. That was when the disciples began to preach to Jerusalem to repent. 39 years later the temple was cast down. This is like Paul being given 40 lashes less one. Again, they were told the day, the year, and the where.

6. When Jonah preached to Nineveh God relented because "they cannot discern". Nineveh was given a reprieve. However, Jerusalem the judgment was carried out precisely to the day and year because Jesus told them if they were blind they would have no sin, but because they say they can see their sin remains". They did not get a reprieve because they were entrusted with the word of God.

There are two sides to the sign of Jonah. Jerusalem was judged after a 40 year warning precisely to the day. The world gets a reprieve because we didn't have the word of God. Instead of 40 years we get 40 jubilees. Jesus was crucified in 31 AD, 2000 years later is 2031. That is when we should see Armageddon.

7. In July of 1984 Dimitri Duduman came to the US from Romania after the Russians had tried to electrocute him twice. The second time they tried to execute him the commandant died instead. His message to the US was the same as the message of Jonah the prophet that God would destroy the US. The US was given a 40 year warning.

Joseph knew when the seven years of plenty would end and when the seven years of famine would be.

I'll listen to the Lord as how to procede. Preaching the gospel, writing the blog and the book I have just written is what the Lord is leading me to do. He has given me enough of a peak into politics to understand that their might be filled with good people with good intentions, but they have decided to get things done they must compromise. I'm not willing to cede any authority to anyone other than the Lord Jesus. So they can claim until they are blue in the face that they are following the Lord, but in the end I will be faithful to what the Lord has spoken to me and they can do the same.

I don't need anyone to agree with me, I simply need to be one with the Lord.

So I have no idea what the Lord has spoken to others, that is between them and the Lord, but I always wonder why it is so important to them to have people agree with them and follow them when the Lord has made it very clear to me that is not important for me to do.
