Jesus is still building His church today (one soul at a time).
The rapture will not take place until after the last member is added.
Because of His great love for her He has promised to spare her from the coming judgment.
1Th 1:10 and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.
And just as believers were never worthy of salvation…
Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
Eph 2:9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
nor could they ever be worthy of being raptured-
especially in the present "Laodicean state" that the church is in today.
Thankfully, the rapture doesn’t depend on works.

FYI, Jesus was the one Speaking to the Churches in Rev chapters 1 and 2. Was He not? It was HE who said get ready, it is the ride who must have their lamps filled with oil and we are to watch and pray are we not?
