According to revelation 11:18. The seventh Trump is the time of the dead when the prophets and saints which is the CHURCH is rewarded

Like I said to you in my other post I did watch this newest video. And I do like the idea about God's Calendar like what was established from Adam until our current one is this idea of a 360 day year for the 7 year Tribulation. Now of course I realize the gist was a hint towards God saying time would need to be shortened for the sake of the very Elect. So I must ask, is your proposal of a 16 hour day in reference to time shortened for the 7 year tribulation?

I don't believe he is saying the days will be shorter.I believe he is saying he will be coming at that time because if he didn't ,there would be no flesh for him to save.

Will the sun be diminished to ⅔ of its present size?

Rev 16:8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire.
Rev 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.

2. How would you explain “A third of the day did not shine”?
"and likewise the night" (i.e. A third of the night did not shine)?
Will ⅓ of the stars cease to exist (i.e. burn out) ?

3. In Dan. 7:25 for what purpose is the word “times” included in the phrase “change times and law”?

To answer your first and second question,I believe the abomination of desolation(nuclear bomb)has already been placed in Jerusalem at that time.The nuclear cloud and fall out in the previous verses.Considering how many nuclear missiles will be used in the middle east ,I believe the sky will be darkened by the nuclear clouds.Tye sun,moon and stars not shinning as brightly as they normally would .
Revelation 6 says the sun became black.I don't believe the sun actually becomes black but that the cloud which ascends into heaven as a scroll being rolled together simply blacked out the sun.

b) the sun’s rays will be so hot they will scorch men? You really can’t have both.

It will be so bad at that time that it is described by both Jesus and Daniel as a time of tribulation unequal to any before it or any after it.
