The pain of loss
A time that won’t go back
Oh merciful one
What happens to those who never had a chance?
I don’t want to guess
I want to make sure
There’s so much blood on the world
There’s so much blood on my hands.

I don’t want to be alone
When I start moving forward
I don’t want to be alone
When I go into this war
Cause the demons will seek to devour me
And my friends might become my enemies
Anything to stop me from doing what’s right
Please, God, don’t leave me alone in this fight.

I’m my worst enemy
How can I become my ally?
When everything in the heart of men is evil
How can I make good triumph?
I don’t want to run away
I want to stay firm in your ways
There’s too much darkness in the world
There’s too much darkness in our eyes.

I don’t want to be alone
When I speak out your words
I don’t want to be alone
When I get into this war
Cause the underworld will come to devour me
And those with them will hurt me as well
Please, give me the strength to overcome this
Don’t let another soul waste into the depths of hell.

To do what’s right
Even if it costs me everything
To do what’s right
Even after it has cost me it all
I will never back down
And go back
Even if the angels and the preachers
Try to deceive.

I believe the way God supports a fighter is through equipping them with the spiritual armour Paul talks about. Angels do not try to kill demons, they wrestle with them. and force them away. We wrestle not against flesh and blood but principalities and rulers of darkness.

This is part of my testimony. One I almost never share. The world is in too much pain. I can't pretend nothing is going on. Thank you again for reading. Most people don't like my poems. They look at me as if I'm an alien. So you basically made my day.
