Lies. I did not call you evil, try again.
Really? What is the meaning of the following quote?

I hope God can forgive you for your hatred, because if I knew you personally, I honestly couldn't find the patience to.
What is a person that is hateful? Evil.

His age doesn't speak for his maturity level. He's assaulting me on a website for having an opinion. That's mature.
I'm not assaulting YOU; I'm assaulting the DECEPTION you are trying to promulgate -- and I'm doing it for the sake of the people who may read, AND for your sake; out of LOVE.

I don't expect you to see that, since your eyes are "blinded by the god of this age".

The question of gay or not gay does not come. But man by nature (since the time of Adam) has been evil and what ever he has done and thought without Jesus has been evil in front of God. So if a person is gay and feels ok "it is not a correct sensation, within"

Incorrect. A TRUE Southern gentleman accepts everyone for who they are and are polite and proper about it. But I guess they don't have those in the Netherlands...
I thought a true Southern gentle was a God fearing, hard working and didn't let people do whats wrong rather encourage them to do what is right.

If you REALLY accepted people for who they are (by YOUR definition of accepting people for who they are) You wouldn't be telling astro and the others they are wrong. By your words you find telling someone they are wrong un-accepting BUT you are doing that to the ones you are debating. You're killing yourself, man. :p

if you're insinuating I'm a homosexual, you're wrong. Not that there is anything wrong with it, of course. But if i was wasn't a proper Southern gentleman who wouldn't say bad things to a lady, I'd have some choice words for you.
Sweety...I'm way out of your league..I don't engage in necessary battles.
I already provided the scriptures that were pretty clear and you insist that it means something else.
Who is going to argue with that? Certainly not me. I'm just having fun now..If you're right-- may God correct me; If I'm right--- may God correct you.

Peace

1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Except not. They're calling me wrong and saying I'm going to be condemned to Hell. They're attacking me b/c I'm "forwarding the evil homosexual agenda." I'm defending myself. Oops. Sorry I'm not sorry.

They have not said anything about you being gay dude. They have just said it was wrong. And if you are going to call yourself a Christian you should try following the words of GOD and not the word of FSUBoy cause you are showing us your opinions we are showing you what the bible says -- what God says.

Romans 1
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

By arguing with me you are arguing with God because the bible is my basis for my beliefs. God created us, and DIED for us. The least we could do is take the bible for what it is, after all; "All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16)

Anything you say back is directed towards God, I am just a mirror.

BS cop-out. I ain't talking to God, I'm talking to you. Romans is a direct reference about temple prostitutes being used for pagan religious service. Read up on temple prostitutes and then read Romans again. You'll see a connection. Receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error makes no sense if it's just talking about consensual normal sex. They received in them the pagan deities of the Roman faith through their sexual acts. It has nothing to do with men or women. (Thank you Florida State religion department for making me not ignorant)

You are talking to someone who lets God guild their footsteps, and lets God control their opinions. And If it is not talking about Men and Women, why did it mention men and women? So you are saying that verse is saying it is OK if it is with straight prostitutes? Dude, your post oozes ignorance. :p

You keep talking about Romans 1; you haven't yet TOUCHED 1 Tim 1:10

"..the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine,"

Want it in Greek?
1 Tim 1:10
πόρνοις ἀρσενοκοίταις ἀνδραποδισταῖς ψεύσταις ἐπιόρκοις, καὶ εἴ τι ἕτερον τῇ ὑγιαινούση διδασκαλίᾳ

ἀρσενοκοίταις: 733 arsenokoítēs (from 730 /árrhēn, "a male" and 2845 /koítē, "a mat, bed") – properly, a man in bed with another man; a homosexual. From arrhen and koite; a sodomite -- abuser of (that defile) self with mankind.

Now that Romans is no longer in question, what do you have to say about what Scripture instructs? It is a SIN, PERIOD: people must REPENT, just like hypocrites, just like liars, just like thieves, just like ANY common sin.

Beyond that, it SPECIFICALLY mentions lesbianism as being "unnatural"; we can assume it is the same for men who lie with men.

Incorrect. ἀρσενοκοίταις literally means "Male bed partners." And guess what the Romans and Greeks liked to do? Keep little boys as male... bed... partners. Believe me, covered this whole thing in classes. You can get all crazy on me, I just think you're funny ;)

Achieve a full high school reading comprehension level and come back to me. Clearly you do not understand the concept of temple prostitutes. And I'm definitely NOT the ignorant one here. I'll leave that to all of you.

1. You failed to take the verse into context, since it SPECIFICALLY was talking about acts that are condemned by the Law of Moses. Why not go to the SOURCE, and find out what the Law is condemning, rather than make up your own definition for the verse?

It says that the LAW was made for SINFUL people -- people who practice works that are condemned by the Law.

Think about it -- if no one STOLE, there would be no LAW against it! If no one killed, there would've never arisen a LAW against it.

In the same way, the LAW condemns actions of sinful people -- homosexuality being one of them -- which is exactly what 1 Tim 1:10 (in proper context) is talking about.

2. You still failed to answer why it SPECIFICALLY mentions in Romans 1:26, 27...

For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions.
For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature;
and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

Dishonorable passion -- um... do you think its talking about a passion for arts & crafts??? What dishonorable passion that is "contrary to nature" (the male and female parts are NATURALLY correlative)... it doesn't mention male prostitutes in v26; yet, it likens their unnatural relations in v27 to the same unnatural woman-woman relations in v26: this shows the relation of woman-woman, and male-male (reinforced by 1 Tim 1:10's referral to the Law's condemnation of the acts).

Your replies are what is called a failure to "rightly divide the Word of Truth".

Wow. I literally am baffled at the amount of time you put into arguing something that is little more than a footnote in the Bible, sin or not. (It's not, but hey..) I honestly do not care what you think or feel. My argument is WHO ARE YOU to say that a gay can't be a christian? It is NOT your place to say ANYTHING about that. Only God knows what's in a person's heart. And I've known a few gay people that are definitely WAY closer to God than the hate mongering "Christians" who spend all day arguing against homosexuality and spend no time helping the poor or spreading love to anyone. I'm done arguing with you. You've proved NO point other than "well these 2 verses say..." And I've tackled both. I'm done listening to your hate and ignorance for an entire group of people. Goodbye, Daniel.
