What are you trying to prove here, if anything these help my argument.
The law of Moses was placed outside the ark. What was placed inside? Who wrote what was placed inside? What is that covenant called? What did Jesus call it?
i think

I miss notifications all the time and get some from forums I’ve never entered. This time however. Was going to crack a joke at something you said but then changed my mind is probably what happened I apologizeThe program just alerted me that Pilgrimshope quoted me but clicking the link brought me to this post where I can clearly see that he had quoted SB. I see now how I have been missing some replies and only happening to catch by chance. Just an fyi in case anyone else is experiencing any similar event. I don't mean to ignore anyone. Well, that is, unless I do.![]()
I did consider that might've been what happened as I probably should have deleted more comments that I had actually submitted. Thank you so much for letting me know!I miss notifications all the time and get some from forums I’ve never entered. This time however. yeah toy make a promise with what you say lol a covenant is based solely on what God said to a man or in that case a nation the words are the promises that’s the point
The whole covenant is new from the word to the blood to the one who spoke the mediation of God word and yes what he said is totally different it’s better far better in every way
youe just confused by Moses words rather than looking from Christs words

Are you referring to the Ten Commandments? You keep saying I am quoting Moses, but James 2:10-12 is not Moses but God. The "He who said" is not Moses its God.
Perhaps I am not the one confusing God with Moses, but many do not give credit to God for His own work Exo 32:16
I wrote a detailed post about it here (3) The Law Is Out Of Date And Will "SOON DISAPPEAR"? - Christian Chat Rooms & Forums
You made the claim the Ten Commanemtns showed up in the NC but not by God, yet everyone in the gospels gives credit to Him for it. I think we should too. since after all if it wasn't for Him, none of us would be here.
Peace brother. I appreciate the friendly chat.“ UNCLE !! UNCLE !!
I do also , beloved child of the lordPeace brother. I appreciate the friendly chat.
God bless!
Yes currently we might be but I’ve also heard something ….somewhere…..about scattering seeds and then giving them time to root before we begin clipping leaves of that makes sense ?I just saw this, I would go through this passage with you, but we are probably already at an impasse.
Agreed, perhaps another day.Yes currently we might be but I’ve also heard something ….somewhere…..about scattering seeds and then giving them time to root before we begin clipping leaves of that makes sense ?
In human terms lol sometimes two people seem irrevocably at odds but after a time and season the conversation sinks in on both sides and brings them closer together in the future
its not always bad to let seeds either root or be cast out over some time . I believe when it’s Gods word there’s power to those who already believe in him to effectively change thinking which is usually the impass between believers
But if we have no truth in us, there is no spirit. John 14:15-18Actually, the test goes deeper than offered above. The true depth of the test is whether or not a person Loves others with the same Love that God has for His Son, Jesus. Do we Love others as we love ourselves? Do we make others more important than ourselves? Do we Love our enemies? And most of all, do we Love our own family members, for Peter taught that a person who does not Love their own flesh and blood, they are worse than unbelievers.
That, as far as I am able to determine, is the best Spiritual test to determine if self, and if others, possess the Spirit of Christ.
Looking forward to it and even a different subject we may find more in common if the subject isn’t which covenant or what the covenant is ectAgreed, perhaps another day.![]()
an interesting insight to share![]()

LOL, you are challenging yes if it were not for my leaning toward competitivity (wow, according to spellcheck, that's actually an acceptably legitimate word, and I thought I made it up! I love when that happens.I'm not ignored. I'm just hard to reach.
But if we have no truth in us, there is no spirit. John 14:15-18
Only God can tell who has His Spirit, but we can tell if someone is not teaching what God tells us to teach and not teach Mat 5:19 we know where we stand with those people 1 John 2:3-4. Jesus really gives us all the tools so won't be deceived by the "many" who come in His name teaching doctrines of men leading people down the wrong path.
The Ark of the Covenant and its contents are nothing more than symbols of something greater.
Psalm 132:6-8 NLT - "We heard that the Ark was in Ephrathah; then we found it in the distant countryside of Jaar. Let us go to the sanctuary of the LORD; let us worship at the footstool of his throne. Arise, O LORD, and enter your resting place, along with the Ark, the symbol of your power."
The Law of Moses was a mere pattern, a symbol of something better and greater to come. It has no Power whatsoever. None. It is a completely ineffectual Law that couldn't save a gnat.
Ok, peace to you! I wish you nothing but the best.I can see that there won't be an opportunity for agreement. Therefore, to keep Peace with the Body of Christ, I shall step away.
My post demonstrates that word choice is just as important as punctuation. I actually meant hard to find. I wonder if I had employed commas, would the reception been different?LOL, you are challenging yes if it were not for my leaning toward competitivity (wow, according to spellcheck, that's actually an acceptably legitimate word, and I thought I made it up! I love when that happens.)
