It's not a question of regularly confessing sin. All true believers will do this. But no one actually confesses all their sins, because they aren't aware of all their sins. For example, suppose I make a flippant remark that hurts one of my children's feelings. Then suppose they cover my sin by simply saying within themselves that they forgive me and do not form any bitterness in their heart towards me. I remain unaware of my offense but indeed I have sinned and not confessed it. What happens as a result of my unconfessed sin?
“But no one actually confesses all their sins, because they aren't aware of all their sins.”

yes brother that’s my entire point sin is when you knowingly do or realize you have done something sinful ….

for instance brother if you had two identical twin sons five years of age

You give them crayons and place paper on a table . But you don’t tell them “ thou shalt not color on the walls “ if they color on the walls and you didn’t inform them itnis t thier sin against you , it is ignorance on thier part . Not in an insulting way but in the meaning “ they weren’t aware of the rule dont wrote on the wall when they did it so it’s not just to punish them or account a wrong deed to them you never told them

now there’s a crayon drawing on the wall now the same as if they had known the rule but you can’t point to it as thier fault against you either you have the. Crayons and they saw a big white wall

But if you give then crayons and then tell them do not write on my walls take all this paper and draw on the paper . If then they wrote on your wall it is because tbey knew the rule and rebelled against it so now there’s justification in crediting a fault to them

sin is if I know the right thing to do and don’t do it , or if I know the wrong thing to do and do it then it’s sin

That’s my point entirely it’s not sin if we dont know it’s sin. So then refusing to confess the sin becomes something tangible and like your saying anyone really with a decent heart who does wrong to another they are going to find repentance beginning in thier heart

i over complicate things sin but a when you do know , if we aren’t aware it’s not something we can confess or need to confess because it’s not sin sin is when we violate something we know

The idea of atonement is certainly included. But it also engenders the idea of pacifying anger.
Well why would you çall Gods wrath anger ?.

Surely what he chooses or how he chooses to punish unrepented sin in every life is his choice,

I mean every life is his life is it not.

1 John chapter 2...Jesus is our propitiation.
amen look how it fits with what’s being said if we don’t break it up

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: and he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for our's only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”

So go back to my example. I know I'm supposed to esteem others better than myself. In the case of my child, I obviously failed and I'm oblivious to it. Unless my child brings it up or God communicates to me my sin, I'll never confess it.

To God it's righteous anger big difference.

What about this scripture

But unless you repent, you too will all perish.

Who said this ?
I'm not talking about repentance. I'm talking about confession.

So what your saying then is there is no such thing as repentance after the cross or after your saved ?

Only confession is that it
No. I'm saying repentance has to do with turning away from sin and toward righteousness. Confession has to do with sorrowing over our failures to do so.

well when Jesus said you will perish if you don't repent is that his wrath ?

Surely also they must have been told to confess first but they haven't repented because they've kept in sining the same sin

Sure. But not necessarily each time.

Do you believe you have loved every person in your life as Jesus has loved you? Are there any times, do you suppose, that you are unaware that you have not?

I'm not under the wrath of God...Romans 8:1.

Jesus was merely pointing out truth. Those to whom He was speaking were asking about others who were killed by a fallen tower. It was the Jewish belief that when someone died or was suffering from some sort of malady, it was because of their sin or the sin of someone connected to them. He was letting them know they also had sinned and were subject to judgment.
