And we wonder why the church is in the mess it's in. smh Dealing with two people here that are Biblically uneducated and should have learned these things in Sunday school. Then they go and spread a false gospel to others. Proven wrong with direct Scripture, they simply get angry and more hateful. Their un- Christlike attitude and unteachable spirit show they have been pulled in by unlearned people that push false doctrine and they fell for it because they didn't know the Word. It's sad.
Yup. I no longer wonder what is wrong with 'believers' when I read what some of them, who reference themselves as Christians, post. I figure it's a cross section of what can be found in many 'churches'. Nothing helpful whatsoever and they are more than pleased to create as much discord as possible within the terms of this forum and spout absolute rubbish that has been fermented in some great poisonous vat within the vain imaginings of those who think themselves superior to those who actually refer to scripture.
Unteachable spirit is putting it mildly. Not only that, but they desire to teach and indoctrinate everyone else.
15Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
16By their fruit you will recognize them. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
17Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
18A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.
19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20So then, by their fruit you will recognize them. Matthew 7
While they may not call themselves prophets, they believe they hear from God, things that are contrary to what is in the Bible and will even reject scripture itself, saying they have a higher or new revelation.
God save us from such and if it is not scriptural, no matter who says it anywhere, do not accept what they have to offer
