If God freed the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt to put them under slavery to His law, then it would be for slavery that God sets us free, however, Galatians 5:1 says that it is for freedom that God sets us free, and God's law is of freedom (Psalms 119:45).
The Jews were released from slavery in Egypt (slavery to the Gentiles). That is what the text states and never use the pronoun, 'we', as in, we were released from slavery in Egypt. The Jews were held in bondage to the law (a legal slavery) after being released from Egypt.
The Gentiles on the other hand have never been under the law.
Galatians 4:3-5
So we too, when we were children, were held in bondage under the elementary principles of the world. But when the fullness of the time came, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons and daughters.
You have been redeemed from that bondage (slavery) to the law.
The elementary principles are your futile attempts to become righteous through your own obedience.
Soyeong, please correct your interpretation so that it aligns with the scripture.
The Jews were under the law and the Gentiles were never under the law.
The Gentiles were never circumcised and the Gentiles cannot become circumcised, Soyeong.
Surely you can see through the veil?
