I'm in Lenexa, KS. If a non-specific location like that isn't allowed, then sorry, I'll remove this post.

I'm looking for a group of people in their 30s that does either board games or sports, or maybe volunteers on the weekends or something like that.

Any ideas?

Giving out info like that is quite fine if you are okay with it. What is frowned
upon is giving out personal addresses to online sites or your exact location.
The whole world can see anything you post here, so it is discouraged for that
reason and also because advertising personal sites or books is not really allowed,
although you could link to music you have composed or sung, etc...

Are you wanting someone in your area, I assume? Have you checked out local churches and places like the Salvation Army or local Food Banks that need volunteers? I admire your taking steps to connect w/other believers and I pray for God to bless you with many good contacts🙏🙏🙏

You can give any specific location that you choose though I would caution against giving actual street address or phone numbers until you get to know the members better and have developed a sense of trust. Glad to have you onboard with us. Welcome to CC.

I can't help with being 30 something or Kansas, but I did find my first gaming group on board game geek, and I hear there are a lot on facebook as well. Or if you have a local game store you can try that. Or you can try instigating a gaming night at your church. If all else fails find things in each of those categories that you can do solo and just go do them. Good luck.
