The devil killed them using e commandment against them “surely they would die if they ate the fruit “ do he lies and tells them they won’t die if they eat it it will make them wise “

the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.”

If we take Gods word always as the truth someone telling us contrary is lying or wrong. In this case it’s a matter of life and death to believe God and not Satan but they immediately thought now that the fruit was good for food and would make them wise because of what he said to them distorting thier minds concerning what God said. And leading man astray who’s made to just listen to and follow Gods word and reject the lies
instead they accepted a lie “ the fruit won’t harm you it will make you wise “ and had to reject the truth “ the fruit is deadly don’t eat it because you will certainly without a doubt die “
Immediately everything goes awry after he speaks against Gods word and they listen

the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes,
and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and
Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.”

Man has taken a road that’s going to lead to thier destruction eventually just ten generations after this happened and God knows it so now this

satan led man astray with a lie and brought death to us all through sin . Man is t made for this condition and Satan is the original catalyst
We aren’t created or willed by God to be like this it’s rather a result of satans deceit and plot against us
“For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. God didnt create us like that we rejected his word and followed the devils later found out it was a lie but the curse remained until Jesus came to give life to the dead
He’s a liar and with lies he kills those who would be saved if they believed the lords words and eat of the tree of life
