Don't you recognize the nearly extinct Musa Aves??? :eek:
(Musa from the scientific name for Banana; and Aves from the scientific word for Bird; aka the "banana bird")
These birds are very rare indeed.
Despite that fact, people still like to eat them.
It is said they taste very similar to a banana.
They are often very green in their infancy, becoming more and more golden yellow as they mature.
This one must be a little older because as they begin to age their color changes again taking on a brown appearance.
The very old ones (if they have not become someones meal before then) change color again from brown to black.
