Friday Update:
Praise the Lord! Mom made it through last night and today.
She's in ICU intubated and sedated.
Her x-rays show a lot of clouded area in one lung and a little in the other. The respiratory therapist drew some mucus off earlier. My Dad died from this procedure, so it is concerning. However, Mom's numbers are improving and had a good conversation with the pulmonary therapist.
I'll l be talking to the night shift doctor a little later.
The love here touches my heart and that you all are praying for her, for us. My brother appreciates it too. I will be checking back here periodically to update you all from time to time of changes.

Aspiration pneumonia is challenging to treat. I hope and pray that your Mom pulls through and fully recovers from her current condition 
I can only imagine how stressed and worried you must feel, and how your Mom is struggling. I hope and pray that our LORD will bless and guide the hands and minds of all the medical staff handling her case. May she respond well to her treatment, and her lungs recover and be protected from permanent damage. May she remain stable and continue to improve and be fully healed, by our LORD’s grace, mercy, power and love may your hearts rest easy and find comfort and peace in Christ Jesus, as you wait and trust in our LORD through this trial.

Doctor's meeting shortly and very urgent decisions need to be made. My brother and I need to have information, wisdom and God's direction.
Mom needs incredible safety for removal of the breathing tube, if she's ready for that.
Not sure if it can be safely reinserted, if she's not ready, without a lot of tissue damage.

He is answering prayers for sure.
Good news so far.
They just removed the breathing tube and have her on a Bipap machine. Her O2 and numbers look good so far. We are waiting to see how she does.
Coming off the meds, she's very combative.
She nearly kicked me in the face a time or ten. I feel like I'm in martial arts class again.

That's really positive news
I pray your mum keeps on improving and gets stronger but not strong enough to really kick you hehe
