My narrative? What exactly is "my narrative". I agree that C02 represents about 0.035% of the atmosphere, I have never asked for teenagers, drama queens, Hollywood actors or airhead athletes to come and ask for $5 trillion dollars in spending.
All I have said is the facts. Since 1900 sea level has risen about 5 inches, and the average depth to the ocean is about 12,000 feet or 144,000 inches so most people can do the math to determine the % it has risen or the % of 40 feet (the amount the ocean will rise if all the glaciers melt). Granted we don't know if that was part of a natural cycle of the warming since the last ice age, or if it is due to man made influences or how much man made influences played a role in that. We do know that sea level has risen about 20 feet since the last ice age 10,000 years ago, so that is about a foot every 500 years, or 3 inches in the 120 years.

Because one person says one inaccurate response to just one aspect of climate change, and because some smart alec makes him look stupid,.does not negate from all the other hundreds of unprecedented events that have happened over the last few years and have been showed to you on the cause of this thread.
What negates from the truth is people who find fault, in just one little thought, said in mistake, and then they dismiss everything else on the bases they've found reason to make someone look stupid because they made an error.

As ive already indicated which you haven't even acknowledge, is for the first time in history the rotational speed of our planet has slowed down.
This is a change, that nobody knows just how quickly is could slow down further, or just how quickly it could accelerate,

Last year we had more ice melt in any other year since records began.
What may happen if this year, we have more ice melt again in any other year again would be unprecedented, which nobody truly knows what the outcome will be.
The video demonstrates that when the centre of mass is pushed into a position where it's surrounding mass is dramatically changed then the balance can be upset so much that a major wobble could occur,

You do realize that took place when they built the 3 Gorges dam. You have not tied the change in rotation to 5 inches of seawater. Nor have you proven that the water will continue to rise, nor have you shown that this did not occur in the last six thousand years prior to man made impacts on our environment.
Besides not proving the cause you also haven't demonstrated what the impact will be.

So according to him sea level has risen about 80 feet as two thirds of the glaciers on land have melted since the last ice age 10,000 years ago. That would be about one inch for every ten years. Since 1900 sea level has risen 5 inches, that is about one inch every 30 years. so is your concern that sea level is not rising as quickly and might soon stop?this guy
I notice he said "the climate change models" show the land will go under water. These are the same models that Al Gore used in his predictions? The models have been shown to be very, very wrong which is why you are not seeing respected scientists speaking anymore. So wake up, what he is saying is not wrong, but what he is leaving out is that the climate change models that say this have been proven to be very wrong.

However he said thats said to dramatically increase.
As much as 90 cm could rise in the near future.
What you have to realise is there's a certain amount of weight on the north pole and south pole which is disappearing else where.
Then you have to understand how the centre of mass changes when its perimeter changes.
I'm sorry but he did say that. He said during the ice age 32% of the land area was covered with glaciers, now it is 10%. We know if the glaciers melt today sea level will rise 40 feet. Sea level has not risen 80 feet since the industrial revolution, it has risen about 5 inches. However, we do know that sea level was about 80 feet lower than it is today at the height of the last ice age.
This is the problem we have people who don't know the facts running around and telling others to spend $5 trillion on junk science.
During the ice age close half of the continental US was covered in ice, that was not here at the beginning of the industrial revolution, it melted a long time ago.
The point is he is basing what he is saying on climate change models, they have been horribly wrong, so instead of being vague, tell me which model he is basing his predictions on because all previous predictions were way off.
This is why I treat these people like buffoons. Any reputable scientist would provide references and they would address the fact that previous models were way off and also explain why we should have more faith in some new model.
The process of science involves making predictions. This is why the models are crucial to determining if our theory is right, instead the models have proved the theories were wrong.

Half the earth being frozen.
You haven't accounted for the ice that has returned to water that was already water , in that period since falling back into an interglacial.
He never accounted his approximation on the last 10000 years.
I agree with him that at the height of the last ice age 32% of the landmass was covered with glaciers and now it is 10%. This means that 2/3 of the glaciated land has since melted. We have other evidence that during the ice age sea level was much lower, and 80 feet lower is a fair approximation.
The point is that sea level has risen by about 80 feet since the last ice age which ended 10,000 years ago. In the last 120 years sea level has risen about 5 inches, also a fact.
He says that based on "the climate change models" sea level will rise and cover the land. I agree with that too, the climate change models did say this and they said many other things that have been utterly debunked. So then, our models were wrong and that means our theory was not taking into account all the various factors.
Now what am I missing? You don't reference bogus models unless you are going to deconstruct the error they made and show how the errors have been corrected. He doesn't do that. It is as though he is saying "Fanni Willis said she didn't have an affair" -- yes, well she is a liar. We all know that, and so who cares what she said.
