The true Sabbath

The Ten Commandments have been with God from Creation and will be with us on the New Earth "... and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship me, saith the Lord." (Isaiah 66:23) Moses did not write the ten Commandments; they were given to him by God. The Ten Commandments are not part of the Law of Moses or any part of the old Mosaic Law. "Do not think that I come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them" (Matt 5:17) The Sabbath is mentioned 60 times in the NT alone and all have to do with the 7th day Sabbath but on which refences an annual Sabbath. God made the Sabbath for all mankind (Mark 2:27). Jesus kept it (Luke 4:16), Paul kept it (Acts 17:2), and Gentiles kept it (Acts 13:42-44; 16:13)
Burial - Matt 27:57 "as evening approached" Mark 15:42 "It was Preparation Day (A high day, the day before an annual Sabbath) So as evening approached" Luke 23:54 "It was Preparation Day, and the Sabbath was about to begin. John 19:42 "Because it was the Jewish Day of Preparation..." Jesus was buried at as evening approached before the next day began, because it was a High Day.
Resurrection - Matt 28:1-6 (1)... at dawn on the first day of the week (6) He is not here he has risen (this statement is in the past tense, already done. It does not imply he rose Sunday morning.) Mark 16: 1-6 (6)"...He has risen" (States the same thing, past tense already done.) Luke 24:1-6 States the same thing, past tense) John 20:1-16 (1) Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark (all the information given in John)
Q. If Crist was buried in the evening just before sunset and for exactly 3 days (72hrs) how did he rise in the morning?
Love you all, your in my prayers, God speed; Danny

I've tried to explain this point to others, but they are fully convinced that the sabbath was not commanded until Ex 20.

They won't see the significance of the words in creation, Gen 2, when God made the sabbath holy.

And people will not distinguish between the cerimonial laws given because of sin and the moral laws that define sin.

Hope you can help people to see.

Morality like marriage and divorce ?

“The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, and said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭19:3-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The law came after sin corrupted mankind was only meant to last u til Christ appeared preaching the gospel and was ordained by angels and given into Moses hand as mediator

“Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions,

till the seed should come to whom the promise was made;

and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

You don’t tell good people who don’t kill others “ thou shalt not kill “ it’s for these corrupted folks

“knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers ( thou shalt not kill ) of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭1:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

chrirtians can’t live under a law made for rebellious sinners they have the gospel made for Gods beloved children to teach them the truth and ways of God

The moral law is like God. Perfect and holy, God's character, and we have always been asked to obey it.

Before The flood we were expected to obey it and it was there to distinguish between right and wrong.
No law = no sin.

Before Moses we were expected to keep it and today we are expected to keep it.

God does not change and His character doesn't change. His righteous standards do not change. Killing, stealing, lying, coveting, adultery, dishonouring your parents, have always been wrong for all generations and Jesus didn't stop them from being wrong.

Having other God's, taking God name in vain, making graven images, and keeping the sabbath, also haven't changed..

They were not added because of transgression, they define transgression.
Rom 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
Rom 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

When Adam sinned there must have been a law.

Please take note.... the word "law" doesn't always refer to the same laws. There are different laws.. in the verses you quoted please see that the law that is added is not the law that defines sin... but was added because of sin.

Gal 3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
Gal 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

Added for a time to bring the people to Jesus.
The laws that were a schoolmaster and no longer needed after Christ had come.

This doesn't apply to the laws that still define right and wrong.

The cerimonial laws fit perfectly in the context.

WHERE in the new testament do we find a scripture that says "and thou shalt observest thy Saturday sabbath"?

WHERE can a brother find a call to action for Christians such as this in the new testament?

I will not judge or set judgement.

God said...
Mat 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
Mar 7:9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
1Jn 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1Jn 5:2-3
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

I will not judge or set judgement.

Nobody is asking you to.

If those not observing Saturday sabbath were going to be sent to hell, God's Word would teach this.

It does not teach that in the New Testament nor does is give any warnings of anything bad happening to Christians who are not observing Saturday sabbath since the New Testament does not teach Christians to observe Saturday sabbath
