May I suggest?
Take a gander here...

We all will be EVALUATED..... And, some will suffer loss if they refuse correction now.

For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.
If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw,
their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be
revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. If what has
been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. If it is burned up, the builder will
suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.

1 Corinthians 3:11-15

Paul is speaking to those that are labourers together with him with God, telling them ye are God'd husbandry and ye are God's building (verse 9) God tests his children's works for he is like a refiners fire, and like fuller's soap (Mal 3:2). If their work does not pass the test, they will suffer loss, but not the loss of their eternal inheritance.

ifIf a clever snake insults and humiliates you. Will you do the same thing and fight back without hurting the snake but harmless as a dove?

You can't hurt a snake by doing the same thing back....

Just like when you pass gas the smell does not really bother you.

Talk about swinging on the vine to and fro. First you point out Jesus said to be as wise as a serpent which, has always been connected to evil and now you throw your hands in the air when it is shown there is a certain wisdom in evil, used for all the wrong reasons of course which, is why Jesus added to be as harmless as a dove.

What lengths will you go to to ignore the plain meaning of God's word?
He's just being obedient to his master.

you didn't even know the bible said be as wise as serpents,

And you asked where it was in scripture with a puzzled mind, not believing it could be in scripture.

Because you probably thought no we can't be wise as satan.

And now you've seen the scripture and now your saying we can be wise as satan.

Now your also trying to justify what you originally thought could not be in scripture in the blink of eye to be right by your opinion yet again , with a different opinion than you had in the first place.

Obviously you and your friends @Genez who supported your shocking comment, both obviously like to prove yourselves right no matter what.

Even to stoop as low as saying yes Jesus probably meant be as wise as satan.

Honestly I've heard some rubbish in my time but you both have won star prize.

Every serpent is as harmless as a dove, also?

Looks like something in the translation keeps getting lost in your brain?

Is that the poor man's shock therapy? ....

The Cor. passage is speaking of a person before they are born again. We are born body and soul and need a spirit for that is the part of our being that deals with comprehending spiritual matters. Spirit begets spirit (Jn.3:6) so the Holy Spirit can communicate spiritual matters to us.

The Psalm passage speaks of a Romans 1 type who rejected believing God at the first level of God consciousness. Their conscience becomes so seared they are like a mindless animal when it comes to the things of God. If God was to find a "wise" person who seeks Him, they would be the type who have believed the initial drawing factors eg. God exists, He is good, He is righteous, we are sinners and there is judgement between the two. This is based on the following verses.

Romans 1:19-20
19 because what is known about God is plain to them, since God has made it plain to them. 20 For ever since the creation of the universe his invisible qualities — both his eternal power and his divine nature — have been clearly seen, because they can be understood from what he has made. Therefore, they have no excuse;

John 16:8
“When he comes, he will show that the world is wrong about sin, about righteousness and about judgment

Hebrews 11:6
And without trusting, it is impossible to be well pleasing to God, because whoever approaches him must trust that he does exist and that he becomes a Rewarder to those who seek him out.

John 3:6, The Holy Spirit cannot communicate spiritual matters to a person that is not already born again of the Spirit.

Romans 1 - Paul is directing his comments to all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints. The children of God that Paul is talking too, have been taught of God, but have turned away from God, lusting after the things of the world. Romans depicts just how gross a child of God can be, when he is walking in the flesh instead of walking in the Spirit.

Heb 11:6, Our faith as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). When we have been born again, we have spiritual faith which is a fruit of the Holy Spirit which indwells the spiritually born.

How then does the Holy Spirit convict the world of sin, because they do not believe in the One God sent?

Honestly I've lost count of how many times you've twisted scripture to suit your narrative.

It says be as wise as serpents and as harmless as dove.

Where does it say serpents are as harmless as doves.

There's a screw needs adjusting in your brain, or probably you need a dose of lightening to wake you up.

Serpents being wise could be,. because they look for hiding places to protects themselves,

So you then should shelter in the lord to protect yourself and not yourself.

Listen what you need to do is take each comment that comes, don't say the first word that comes into your head.

Take it to the lord in quiet time, and ask him for his wisdom. And wait.

That is simply your assumption because you prefer to think ill of me.

And now you've seen the scripture and now your saying we can be wise as satan
You simply don't listen to what is said with understanding. Wisdom is understanding. Do you think God wants us to be ignorant of evil, that we are to face it without any understanding?

Honestly I've heard some rubbish in my time but you both have won star prize.
You should start listening more to your own arguments then. ;)

God is good and merciful to all. Every transaction between God and man is an exercise of grace.
God is indeed good to all but you need to remember that God's goodness is found in His justice as well as His mercy as most clearly seen in the cross of Christ.

If all things work together for the good of those who love God who are the called according to His purpose, how then do all things work together for those who do not love God and are not the called according to His purpose?

By implying that God has grace towards every person you are denying the doctrine of predestination wherein God saves those He loves unless somehow you think that God loves those He justly casts into Hell?

The unbeliever can not know about the rapture. He can not know about the thousand year reign of the Lord on earth.... etc.
Those are "spiritual truths."

But, one thing is for sure, even though he is unregenerate.
He CAN KNOW HE IS A SINNER!

The leading into salvation begins with knowing one is a sinner.

An unbeliever can understand the things of the flesh....

I did not know that Jesus is also God when I got VERY saved.

To get saved does not require spiritual discernment...

Only after we are saved are we to have spiritual discernment!

Does that help?

grace and peace .....

That one is a sinner unworthy of God's love is a spiritual truth, also. If the Holy Spirit cannot communicate that? All are doomed.

I see only scripture references you claim mention sovereignty. Post an actual text that mentions sovereignty as exhaustive divine pre-determinists image it.
It seems like you do not know what the word Sovereignty means and need to look it up in a Dictionary.

Do the Scriptures describe God as being the things below?
  1. Supremacy of authority or rule as exercised by a sovereign or sovereign state.
  2. Royal rank, authority, or power.
  3. Complete independence and self-government.

John 3:6, The Holy Spirit cannot communicate spiritual matters to a person that is not already born again of the Spirit.
That is what I said. The natural man cannot comprehend spiritual maters because he has no capacity for it. This does not mean he cannot comprehend right and wrong or good and evil for these are moral issues as well. This is how God can speak to man and be heard by him even though he is spiritually dead.

Context. Paul is talking about people who deny the very existence of God. So no, these are not people who have learned of God. It is perfectly acceptable to be talking to believers about unbelievers you know.

Heb 11:6, Our faith as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). When we have been born again, we have spiritual faith which is a fruit of the Holy Spirit which indwells the spiritually born.
And until we reach that point God draws people to Christ on the basis I spoke of. Those who learn from the Father are given to Christ and are saved.

John 6:44-45
44 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. 45 It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me.

The definition of the image of God according to scripture is Christlikeness Col. 1 :15
15 Who is the image of the invisible God,

Heb. 1:1-3
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person,
Thank you for proving my point that none have the image of God except those who are in Christ who is the Image of God (2 Cor 4:4).
