Blame it on Autocorrrect ;-)

Ha ha, that's a good one.

I've hear of people doing that on social media when they get caught saying something that is politically incorrect

Or sometimes they claim their account was hacked and it was the hackers that wrote the bad stuff.

You know that 78% of all statistics are made up, right?
I heard it was 54.7%, but the estimate varies.

But that was projections, not statistics. 173% of all projections are made up.

It's the technological equivalent of, "The Devil made me do it."

And then projections got replaced with flat screen TVs

It's the technological equivalent of, "The Devil made me do it."

Either that, or they are just blaming somebody else for something they actually did.

That is sound Wisdom! Certainly, you wouldn't be opening mocking people, for this would indicate a Spiritual Fatherhood you might not appreciate. :) But you . . . you sound like a Child of God. :)
I have a friend who wrote a song that says "Lord help me win this fight, keep my spirit right". Sometimes I'm like the sons of thunder, and I have to ask the Lord to keep my spirit right and put a bridle on my tongue. But I've always been bright enough to shut my mouth and listen when Godly people speak. I expect I would do even more so in the presence of Jesus who knows all.

I can understand where you're coming from. I was once so strong and bold that life got pretty out of hand. That's when I realized that I was supposed to follow the model of Jesus as He was being led to the cross to die. Instead, I modeled myself after the challenging and at times, fiery Messiah. I even modeled myself after the Apostle Paul in this way. Even with Paul, I had to admit that I am no Apostle, nor will I ever be. The brand of authority I once spoke with . . . well, I believe I was in error.

I'm learning slowly, yet I shamelessly beg the Lord for His controlling help to change me where I cannot change myself.

Then why paul was persecuting the church to the point of being murderous before his conversion. Gamaliel may have preached leniency but He was a pharisee at the core. they stick to their rules and stick toghether or they would be kicked out. Is there any records in the time of Jesus of pharisees who left their functions to follow Jesus, to my recollection they did not. Some knew he was the son of GOD and tried to talk in Jesus favour but they never left the ranks of the pharisees because of the high societal status and privileges it procured them, if they would be followers they would have left these sects!

There is no way to reconcile the pharisee and sadducees sects to Christ, it is impossible, for you to preach this is not right. No one ever should follow their example even less teach other to do so. Be cereful not to follow their doctrines it will harden your heart to the truth. Jesus is the only way to eternal life, he is the light one must follow not the doctrine of the pharisees.

Peace.
Pharisees were people and people are not uniform, but individually have a variety of merits and flaws, so we should be like someone insofar as we are emulating their merits, but not insofar as we are emulating their flaws. Pharisees also criticized other Pharisees for their hypocrisy, so Jesus was not the only one to do that. Likewise, someone can criticize the leaders of a denomination of which they are a member without being opposed to the denomination itself, so we should be careful not to confuse a criticism of the flaws of some Pharisees as being a criticism of their merits. Jesus never criticized the Pharisees for being zealous for doing good works in obedience to God, but rather that was one of their merits, especially because Jesus gave himself to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people of his own possession who are zealous for doing good works (Titus 2:14). Christians today would be doing pretty good if they were half as zealous for obeying God as the Pharisees were.

Nicodemus, Joseph of Aramathea, and Paul were all Pharisees who followed Jesus, so someone does not need to cease to be a Pharisees in order to follow him, and refusing to follow the Pharisees in includes refusing to follow Paul. Again, Acts 15:5 speaks about a group of Pharisees from among the believers. It was Jesus spending a week the Sadducees that resulted in his death.

Orthodox Jews pride themselves on having an unbroken chain from one rabbi to another back to the Pharisees of the 1st century, so they are the modern Pharisees. You can look at the teachings of Orthodox Jews online and see them teaching about things like, grace, faith, and love.

The Torah is God's way (Pslams 119:1-3), the truth (Psalms 119:142), and the life (Deuteronomy 32:46-47), and the way to see and know the Father (Exodus 33:133), the Torah is God's word and Jesus is God's word made flesh, so he is the embodiment of the way, the truth, and the life, and the way to see and know the Father (John 14:6-7).

I thought that's what he wanted was on line zingers!
I'm partial to raspberry zingers, the Dolly Madison ones, but I'm not willing to share those.

As this thread progresses, I've narrowed the possibilities down to either he wants to hear confessions or to hear people humbly boasting. Although, I might be missing a gossip angle to it somewhere.

There's nothing to miss. I didn't lay down any rules other than what the forum requires. No one has to admit anything. This is a thread designed to be positive and encouraging. Say whatever you'd like to say, providing that it isn't offensive. Christian Brothers and Sisters, True ones, that is, consistently build each other up.
