Everyone whom God has chosen unto salvation was predestined before he foundation of the world (Eph 1:4-6) and given grace before time began (2 Tim 1:9).
Believe that God can raise him up?

...ok, this post isn't what I had replied to... what the glitch?

God who is eternal and timeless, decreed all things before the foundation of the world. It's really quite simple but here are some further verse for you to reflect upon.

41 Bible Verses about election, to salvation
everyone is chosen and given a seed, but not everyone is saved by that same seed.

Besides the foundations are the elements from heaven, not earth ❤️

You where not born in heaven

It's inspired by God to say that. If you don't believe it's the same as calling God a liar.
1 John 2:20 is inspired by God, so if you don't believe Christians know all the past, present and future, it's the same as calling God a liar?

Heaven, where God lives is in the past because it existed before the Universe, Earth, Adam, Torah was written.

Do you know about ALL of Heaven? Or just parts of it?

Then he states let's block the tree of before they eat of it.
Actually the Hebrew says 3:22 Then Yahweh said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us knowing good and evil; and now, lest he keep on putting forth his hand (Qal imperfect 3ms) and keep on taking (waqetal sequential perfect) and keep on eating (waqetal sequential perfect) from it and keep on living (waqetal sequential perfect) indefinitely.

Eating from it once does not make one permanently immortal. Continually eating from it keeps you immortal. Rev. 22:1-2, 19

Jesus said unless a man is born again he can not see the Kingdom of God let alone choose it.

The centre of the issue is whether man is spiritually dead as Scripture confirms and if what God said in Genesis 2:17 is true, then the question must be asked, what can dead men do?
This is the question I meant my reply to.
What can dead men do?

Clarifying spiritually dead men yet still alive in their physical bodies, like Abraham, whose body was, "as good as dead" believed God. And Abraham's faith is attributed in Hebrews 11:18 as, "Abraham reasoned that God could raise the dead..." and reason is a 'natural' ability inherent in all mankind.

The spiritual dead know nothing (as it is written of the dead) and so faith is all they can go on, since physical evidence isn't sufficient to convince us, i.e. Abraham's old body, Sarah's dead womb was insufficient evidence of any children coming. They only had the word of God to go on, and that had to be taken by faith. Sarah laughed, but I don't believe in any sort of mocking way, like 'ha! as if!,' but in a nervous hesitancy to express her joy completely.

That is all men can do, but when our spirit is reborn, "the Spirit himself testifies with our spirit...(Romans 8:16)" and so our hope is 'realized' that 'we are God's children' and we inherit the kingdom of God.

I don't know about ALL of heaven. I have some ideas about parts of it that I infer from scripture.

Where does the term "spiritually dead" ever occur in scripture.
Why are you inventing new terms and giving them your own definitions, and then reading them into God's word?

Where does scripture mention the term spiritually dead. Why are you inventing terms, defining them as you wish, and then attributing them to the Bible?

I was speaking to Max in terms using his terms.
How do you suppose we are "dead in our sins"? and how has He 'quickened' us?

When will we see the kingdom of God?
Luke 21:31 So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near.

I could suggest that we are dead in our sins in the sense that we are condemned to a future second death because of the sins we are still considered responsible for ... like the gangster saying "You're a dead man."

Or, we are alienated from God because of our sins, like the prodigal son was dead until he contritely returned to the father.

He quickens us by forgiving us our sins and giving us a new pure spirit into which He comes and abides within us continuously.

Ok, so would you rather we use the term "figuratively" dead?

The Scripture does not say "let alone choose it". Don't add to the word of God.

What, indeed?

"Dead" men can observe, learn, think, choose, examine, ponder, speculate, consider, and even imagine. "Dead" men can choose which woman to marry, which career to follow, which car to drive, and which team to support. "Dead" men can choose wisdom or folly, peace or strife, health or illness, life or death.

Oh... and they can reproduce after their kind too.

My point is obviously that citing the Bible saying, "God knows all things" does not prove that God exhaustively knows past, present and future, if citing the Bible saying "You know all things" doesn't mean we exhaustively know all the past, present and future.
You need more time to work it out.....

We are born physically alive and spiritually dead.
Being spiritually dead to God = dead.

The spiritually dead can bury their own dead. Jesus said so.

He said to another man, “Follow me.”

But he replied, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”

Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead,
but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:59-60

Deeply held wrong conviction acts like grease on the brain when trying to get a grip on the truth.
That grease needs to be washed off with the water of the Word being accepted..

grace and peace .............

The fact that God was letting Adam and Eve walk free before the fall in innocence, and the fact that God was letting them be, does not stop God from being all knowing, @Genez and @Dino246 and @HeIsHere accuse of me heresy.

Simply put Adam and Eve where free, walking in eden with God, in his present time. The fact God didn't know what Adam and Eve had done,

Does not stop God from being all knowing. It just mean they where free

So when your ready to discuss genesis 3 correctly,.let me know.
I would rather discuss why you can not put together a coherent thought before trying to discuss Genesis 3.

Here is what I am talking about...

Simply put Adam and Eve where free, walking in eden with God, in his present time. The fact God didn't know what Adam and Eve had done, Does not stop God from being all knowing. It just mean they where free."
Make sense out of that...

God did know what they had done.
