Hillary Clinton talked about "de-programming" Trump voters. Saul Alinsky wrote about re-educating the people or wiping out those who didn't comply. DNC member David Atkins is one who advocated for "re-education". Former PBS lawyer Michael Beller is another. And, I’ve yet to hear anyone in the Democratic Party condemn their comments.
Republicans / conservatives do not talk about controlling how the people think to comply with the government. The Left does.
I am not uninformed on these issues and I do understand your point on the role of the cultural Marxists adapting their methods to achieve their goals. Being a fanatic for Obama was not an issue for the left but supporting Trump requires the need to be de-programmed.
However, indoctrination on the right is just as problematic, if not more so, and if I had the time and could do the research I would say there is also a strong correlation indicating that conservatives/Evangelical Christians being indoctrinated by their own leaders.
Example "In 1981, Falwell said: "To stand against Israel is to stand against God."
So the "right" indeed has done the same, they have used high profile pastors to do the work, they have made the same plans behind close doors.
Don't be naive, they do the same cancelling to those who do not adhere to this movement and they also work hard to remove even those outside their camp who do not support their ideology.
