If you only see baptism as getting wet, then you need a serious reexamining of your heart. There is no saving Grace in the element of water. The saving Grace comes from the believer placing their faith in Christ and what baptism stands for not the water itself.
Baptism means to wash.
It's when you go into a river or the sea and wash yourself.
That is the actual meaning .

Being baptized in the holy spirit is to be washed clean in the spirit .

Baptism saves but only one baptism. To be washed in water does not save anyone.Being baptized in the holy spirit saves.

Mark 16
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;
but he that believeth not shall be damned.

It's a symbolic act of declaring your faith in Jesus Christ and identifying yourself with his death and resurrection. Their faith needs to be on Jesus Christ not the person baptizing otherwise they are doing it for the wrong reason.

Baptism is a symbolic act that represents being cleansed of sin and starting fresh with Christ. Just as water washes away dirt, baptism signifies the washing away of our spiritual impurities. While baptism is an outward act, it points to the inward change that happens when we accept Jesus. It's a public declaration of a new life lived for Him.

I have a brother that was baptized when he was a teenager. To this day he has never received the holy Ghost.

He never experienced any inward change.
He simply got wet one day .

wrong, it was before the 1900. If you don't know what you are talking about, you should not speak about it 1881 was the establishment of what came to be called Pentecostals. Most were Baptist.
Yes, the beginning with the teaching was some years before.
But Agnes ozman Was according the pentecostal movement the first person, who received the Holy Spirit with speaking in tongues. That was 1900, if i am not wrong.

I believe you.
If you know you have discernment then don't worry about what someone else tells you.
You can only have that type of discernment being regenerated by the Holy Spirit.

The first account of speaking in tongues is in Acts.

Acts 2
2 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

I know and agree, but out of the biblical report in Acts and 1. Cor. ( were it seems you find an different kind of speaking in tongues then in Acts 2,8, 10 and 19. ) you rarely find it in the churchhistory out of cults. It startet again with Agnes Ozman in 1900 according the pentecostal movement.

The disciples were instructed by Jesus to wait in Jerusalem for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit before beginning their ministry and evangelizing. This waiting period was crucial because it was the empowerment by the Holy Spirit received during Pentecost that enabled them to operate in the 9 gifts of the Spirit mentioned in 1 Cor. Chapter 12 effectively.

Here's a bit of enlightenment for those Reformed Calvinist in this thread

On several occasions, Calvin, in his devotions, found himself uttering a lingua non nota et cognota mini. That is, the language was not known or understood by him. Himself a skilled linguist, Calvin set about to discover the orthography of the utterance.

Poor guy had no idea he was speaking in tongues.

Calvin speaking in tongues in the 1500's, Wesley witnessing them in the 1700's, should be no shock it happened again in the 1900's and even more so today.

WHAT IS A REAL BAPTISM?

John The Baptist preached how baptism is important.
Whosoever is not Baptist by him the punishment is in hell.

MATTHEW 3:10
10
And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

There are 2 kinds of baptism that a person should have according to John the Baptist.
1. Water unto Repentance
2. Holy Ghost and With Fire

MATTHEW 3:11
11
I indeed baptize you with WATER UNTO REPENTANCE. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the HOLY GHOST, and WITH FIRE:

As I notice to every group in Christianity, they only perform 1 baptism which is in water.

WHAT IS THE REAL BAPTISM AS JOHN THE BAPTIST PREACHED IN MATTHEW 3:11?

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 2 BAPTISMS?
There is the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which is usually accompanied with speaking in tongues. I personally believe that if a person goes by Romans 10:9-10, then they are saved whether they ever receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit or not.

Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit. John 3:5-8

And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. Mark 16:17-18

follow definition: 1. go or come after (a person or thing proceeding ahead); move or travel behind.

But all their works they do to be seen by men. Matthew 23:5

Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Matthew 7:22-23

Did Calvin or Wesley taught that only who is speaking im tongues is baptised with the Holy Spirit?
