I completely support your choice to abstain. I'm glad you made that choice, really. <3

I have never been tempted to get drunk. So I do enjoy a small glass of wine on occasion. But there are other things I am tempted by that I stay completely away from, even if they aren't sin per se I know they could lead to sin for me. So I think you are being wise in your personal decision. <3
