If they did yes.So there saved when they confessed before the resurrection then.
So they where saved by mercy because they confessed there sin.
If they did not, then no

I am just stating there are two beliefsNo you can't keep falling back on a works based Salvation, friend, thats putting God in a box, there's no such thing buddy.
There is the works of Gods children to lead you to the cross tho.
Gods good will says he is willing that non should perish. He paid the price.you did not merit it, would imply you where saved by an unmerited favor.
Why Should God's good will equate to unmerited favor.
You did not deserve it, and God Good will decided to save you before you received salvation.
well done RosieAm doing strict carnivore also brother...I have type 2 but it is in remission...Done Keto for 18 months , now eating only beef , butter , bacon and eggs...Next bloods in one month...Losing stored fat , so much health issues gone , I am delighted...Have you watched DR M Berry on YouTube , he is amazing , and fighting for doctors to introduce Keto/Carnivore...
He is offering his favour to those who ask for it. Which stil means you are being saved by God's good will.Gods good will says he is willing that non should perish. He paid the price.
He is offering his favor to everyone.
Sadly, Many will not recieve it, they will either try to earn it, or reject it outright
No, he offers it to everyone, Only those who ask for it will recieve it.He is offering his favour to those who ask for it. Which stil means you are being saved by God's good will.
Why would you deny they are both the same thing?God gives freely to those who ask for his wisdom, on the bases they use that wisdom for the better Good, because that's how his will works.
So why should you dismiss his Good will for an unmerited favour
Yes I also eat fish...So glad youA friend of min introduced me to Dr Berry, He is the reason I am doing this. My sugar went way High and the doctor said I must do something.
I get my first blood work here in a few weeks. I am praying.. I eat 4 eggs for breakfast most days..lol. I am the same, only I add chicken and some fish.. Are you doing the salt drinks? I am trying LMNT, I get cramps all the time due to lack of minerals.
which one sounds more leading to knowing God is saving you, and not yourself.I am just stating there are two beliefs
Grace through faith (unmerited)
or grace through faith plus works. (Merited)
You can;t have it both ways.
Egg yolk in coffee, never heard of that..lolYes I also eat fish...So glad you...I did do the salt when I started , but I have enough on my food through the day , and find all my leg cramps have gone...I also put egg yolk in my morning coffee with grass fed butter , it is delish...And yes , I have chicken also , with the skin nice and crispy...You will get there brother , one day at a time...It gets easier as our body heals...
Both fit.which one sounds more leading to knowing God is saving you, and not yourself.
You are saved by God's good will through faith.
Or you are saved by God's unmerited favour through faith.
Which one sits best.
One more thing Brother , and I wont mess up the thread no more...Egg yolk blended up in the coffee with a bit of butter makes the coffee creamy , and it is also a great way to get the yolk into your eating plan...I look forward to your update on blood work...Please message me to let me know as I am praying for you...Egg yolk in coffee, never heard of that..lol
I am pressing on.. As hard as it is.. (I passed up the best Lasagnia I know of last thursday, was rough watching everyone eat..

i'll pray for you, too, Dr. B
Rosemary, you're in my prayers, also. you are the sweetest girl.
defo salvation and salvation is free ... but do you think rewards and losses may depend upon our lifestyle? we all will reach our eternal home but will we all reign with Christ?NT HOLINESS / SANCTIFICATION
The NT asserts that when sinners turn to Jesus in repentance and faith (cf. Mark 1:15; Acts 3:16,19; 20:21), they are instantaneously justified and sanctified. This is their new position in Christ. His righteousness has been imputed to them (cf. Gen. 15:6; Romans 4). They are declared right and holy (a forensic act of God).
But the NT also urges believers on to holiness or sanctification. It is both a theological position in the finished work of Jesus Christ and a call to be Christlike in attitude and actions in daily life. As salvation is a free gift and a cost-everything lifestyle, so too, is sanctification.
Initial Response A Progressive Christlikeness
Acts 26:18
Romans 15:16
1 Corinthians 1:2-3; 6:11
2 Thessalonians 2:13
Hebrews 2:11; 10:10,14; 13:12
2 Peter 1:2 Romans 6:19
2 Cor. 7:1
Ephesians 1:4; 2:10
1 Thess. 3:13; 4:3-4,7; 5:2
1 Timothy 2:15
2 Timothy 2:21
1 Peter 1:15-16
Hebrews 12:14
You left out...they heard this. That is the hearing given...the understanding. Their mind was engaged by God. They were pricked in their hearts...their hearts were circumcised. Then,...what shall we do? Their wills were affected. We need to read in context, see below
37. Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”
1. They were cut to the heart - Their conviction of when they realizes what they did to christ by hanging him on a cross was so deep, and so strong, that it cut into their heart,
2. They asked, what shall we do
38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”
40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.”
1. His response is to repent, To change your view, to confess, to be poor in spirit, To change from a state of unbelief to a state of belief
2. He then told those who did repent to be baptized as an outward testimony of an inward faith
3. He said those who repented would recieve remission of sin and the gift of the spirit (be born again) and this promise is not only to them, but to everyone who would come after (us)
41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.
We finally see, those who recieved his word (recieved Christ) were baptized, as peter said asked them to do. Showing they had freely chose to repent and believe
But you focus on what men did. The focus should always begin with what God did.We need to read in context, see below

"For He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His presence." Ephesians 1:4
Is Moses saved? Yes.....
Is David saved? Yes.....
Is Isaiah saved? Yes....
Were they chosen to be the body of Christ? To be His Church?
No....
God chose us out from all those whom He knew would believe.. All believers throughout all history.
Chose only us for the position of becoming the Bride of Christ.
Yes-Scripture affirms that our rewards and losses in eternity are indeed linked to our lifestyle and actions on earth. While all believers will reach their eternal home, the Bible indicates that not all will reign with Christ or receive the same rewards.but do you think rewards and losses may depend upon our lifestyle? we all will reach our eternal home but will we all reign with Christ?
we all will reach our eternal home but will we all reign with Christ?
I ain't concerned by greek, im concerned by what is a clear definition of Gods grace, which is major flaw in church doctrine. Both fit.
I was saved By Gods good will sacrifice
And I was saved by God favor which was unmerited.
You do realise that the NT was written in Greek do you not? It was not written in english, we just interpret the words used.
