The answer will be: "But he was a "special Case". When a person has bought into the "Baptismal regeneration" LIE, they've already developed all the "Rationalizations" they need to stay with it.
When they get caught up in such a rationalization?

The message was indeed first presented in Jerusalem and continues to be carried into all nations:
"Repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for remission of sin, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

I don't believe it is a total necessity to be baptized. If you do, it is just a sign to YOU of your faith to yourself. God doesn't need any signs; He IS the sign. Yeshua took ALL that with Him when He died and rose and ascended to His Father. Yes, I've been baptized. What gets me is that if you go into a "new church", they tell you that "unless you are baptized HERE, you're not saved". Yea, I've been told that too!!! I told them, I was baptized, but they insist I'm not saved because it wasn't done at their church! which is ludicrous! I tried to tell them, YOU ONLY NEED IT ONCE, if at all! OI VEY!!! needless to say, I did not stay at that "church".

Did you notice that the Gentile household of Cornelius RECEIVED the baptism with the Holy Spirit BEFORE they were water baptized?
