Rose,

Moses gave you the answer. Also, just because we disagree on one thing it doesn't mean we can't discuss things further.
In your case however i don't think either of us will learn anything if we were to discuss David.
I've said a lot in the past regarding David and i don't want to mix it in this thread but i gave an example of the mindset.
So i am not taking David away from you, but i am limiting the influence of David in my life because he doesn't bring my any sort of happiness or joy.
I respect him because he is part of God's plan, just like i respect the saints, the apostilles or Jesus' mother.

It's a false doctrine, what more is there to talk about?

So you think no one knows about Islam? There's no information to be found? I have missionary friends that have lived in Muslim countries. All kinds of ways to find out what Islam is about.

Either way he started a false religion.

Maybe, but it's still a false doctrine.

Yes it could, if he repented of his sins and changed his beliefs. He didn't. The same with some of the Jews, some will believe some won't.

If the Jews have done wrong, God will deal with them. That has nothing to do with Muhammed who murdered people in cold blood. Each one answers for their own sin.

They don't consider religious wars sinning.

As they should.

What makes you think no one has researched it? They don't claim Jesus is the Messiah. What worst sins ever are you talking about?

He could convert the world, but that's up to us. His plan is that we choose Him.

Is the Bible the Final and Complete
Revelation From God?

From the mouth of the Lord Jesus Himself we learn that “the Scriptures testify of Me” [Jn.5:39]. All of their messages focus upon Him as He expounded on the Emmaus road and to His own disciples after His resurrection [Lk.24:25-27, 44-49].

From the beginning God’s purposes have been wrapped up in the promised Seed [Christ] who will bruise the head of the serpent [Gen.3:15]. The Lord later affirmed to Abraham that the blessings of justification and the promise of the Holy Spirit would be secured through the coming of his Seed, that is, Christ [Gal.3:14-16]. Indeed, “all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and Amen” [2 Cor.1:20].

All previous messages through the prophets were partial and preparatory awaiting the full revelation of Christ who, as the Word [Jn.1:1,14,18], fully and finally expressed the nature and purposes of God [Heb.1:1,2]. What further revelation is needed beyond the record of Him who is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature? [Heb.1:3]. Those whom He chose and designated testified of Him in word and in the Scriptures with Divine approval and authority [Heb.2:3,4]. The Scriptures they penned were inspired by the Spirit as He superintended their written words [2 Pet.1:20,21].

He Himself is “the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end” [Rev.22:13]. Christ is the sum total of all that God has spoken to man. The final expression of this is contained in the book of Revelation which was given by God to Jesus and then to John [Rev.1:1]. This is God’s final revelation about His Son and the Son’s final revelation which He gave to His apostle [Rev.22:16]. Anyone who adds to this final revelation will come under the judgment of God [Rev.22:18,19].

The sufficiency of the Bible is evident because its subject is Christ in whom dwells all the fullness of Deity in bodily form [Col.2:9]. God has spoken to us in His Son whom He has appointed heir of all things [Heb.1:2]. The Qur’an adds nothing to that revelation because its focus is certainly not Christ.

Simply stated, if Christ is God’s full and final revelation of Himself to man, then the book of Revelation is Christ’s own final, fitting, and authorized capstone of that revelation as noted above.

When all is said and done, the Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword and cuts whether men acknowledge it to be inspired or not. Use it, my brother, with full confidence and the Holy Spirit will bear witness with conviction to His own inspired Scriptures.

Lol @TheLearner all theese last posts look like a massive headache to me

I will wait for the lord to separate disputes between nations.

But really I don't know what to say other than the fact, I believe other than all faiths,.have a mixture of faiths within them in some way.

All tho this is an Arab forum, it may do some good to let the Arabs know the Messiah in the Qur'an should mean many things and not just one meaning.

The Messiah means everything.

Sorry I haven't been able to take part in the discussion. My mother got out of bed the other night, passed out and broke her ribs when she fell. Luckily I have been spending nights there because my father has the beginnings of dementia. So he came and woke me at about 5am and I got 911 to the house. Anyhow I haven't been able to discuss lately and not sure when I will be able to. But I'm sure I can catch up as you all continue. Have a blessed day.

sorry to hear that rose, dementia is such a difficult illness to look after, we spent everyday for a whole two years tending to my partners mum who had dementia. We now have to pay 20000 a year to keep her looked after in a nursing home.

But it's worth it, she was always falling over too.

I hope your managing ok.

In fact they say that another was crucified in His place. No crucifixion, no resurrection.
That's what later people think, not what the book itself wants to express. You need to know the difference.

Surah 4:157 and for boasting, “We killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.”
But they neither killed nor crucified himit was only made to appear so.
Even those who argue for this ˹crucifixion˺ are in doubt. They have no knowledge whatsoever
—only making assumptions.

Not sure why you want to misrepresent what the Koran explicitly says.

This is a question of English. What it wants to express is that Jesus did not really die on the cross. English can only be translated into nor crucified him.

Surah 4 157.又因为他们说And because they said,:
“我们确已杀死麦尔彦之子麦西哈.尔撒,真主的使者。”"We have killed Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of God."
他们没有杀死他,
They didn't kill him,
也没有把他钉死在十字架上,
Nor killed him on the cross,

但他们不明白这件事的真相。
But they don't understand the truth.
为尔撒而争论的人,对于他的被杀害,确是在迷惑之中。他们对于这件事, 毫无认识,不过根据猜想罢了。
. Those who argue about Jesus are indeed in confusion about his murder. They know nothing about it, but it's just a guess
他们没能确实地杀死他。
They failed to actually kill him for sure.

When we don't know the resurrection of Jesus, we will say that Jesus died on the cross.
When we learn about the resurrection of Jesus, we may express that Jesus did not really die on the cross, or they didn't kill him nor killed him on the cross.

Read these two sentences together.
they didn't kill him nor killed him on the cross.
They failed to actually kill him for sure.

Hahah, so what you’re telling me here is that you’re like some Protestants who argue about Bible translations or commas in a sentence.
Instead of making it a comprehension issue, you‘re making it a translation issue.
Okie dokie.

Sure. They failed to kill Him, meaning Jesus lied about the sign of Jonah (His three days and nights in the grave), and
without Him dying, there is no need of a resurrection. Any way you slice it, they have gutted the Christian message.
They do believe someone died on the cross in His stead... which is how it was made to "appear so."

You know, this may be a perfectly legitimate belief for Muslims in China or a personal belief for @Obedience but this is not what the majority of the Muslims believe so it is what it is i guess.
