Things To Come (c) S.H. 2019
My beloved wrote this one night while writing in his journal.

The flood of events is going to come.
The dam holding it all back is going to break.
The seas are going to die.
The earth is going to shake.
The people will be ruled
By a tiny little chip.

The bees are dying at an accelerated clip.
Soon the food chain will be gone.
The skies are bleeding poison from above
and more and more is the absence of love.

The KING IS COMING!

Ahhh. . . poetry about the latter days; that’s amazing! Thanks for sharing it.

Another Analogy my hubby came up with is:
We are all on God's Holodeck and the safety protocols are offline.
But the Captain is on the bridge and
we can trust HIM to bring us safely home from the mission.

Another one Hubby reminded me about:
Ego is like mud on your windshield
The wipers won't take care of it until the washing of The Word is applied
Then the wipers can clear the view.

Remove all ego from me, Oh Father God, so that my
windshield is clear to see YOU. Amen

The point being: Ego is folly. It blocks perception of The Divine.

I really like that one. Hits home and it's something I pray for all the time because I'm so full of myself sometimes!

I think we all have a measure of self-centredness.

Some a little, some greater.
Even Joseph began to despair ☺️

Genesis 40:14,23 KJV
But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:

[23] Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him.
