welcome for what? thats plain english also. are you saying welcome to the group? details are helpful. how 'bout you and I just dont talk to each other. there are other people to speak to and I see you are quite the shiny star and I certainly dont want to block that for you in any way.
I looked for many years for a preacher that would preach actual truth and didnt find one in my own state. I have done my own studies for 10 years before finding my church and have been with them for 10 years. if a preacher doesnt stand up to the money machine I will not attend.
I guess there are a few around here who don't celebrate holidays, hope you find each other. Holidays being Godly or not is up to the person I reckon. Here at Christmas I have the manger scene with a lit-up star behind it. Thousands of people see it.

Question about holidays and birthdays; how strict are you with those?
Because i don't do them strictly either. I don't even know how old i am for example, i'd have to look at my passport.
I know i'm around 50 somewhere.
Hello, thank you for the kind welcome. its not because of "strictness". Its easy to follow God and a relief to put down the silly things I used to be involved in that the world loves. Many of us have been raised in terrible lies and its a relief to me to learn that how I hated the lies and the liars is a good thing.
James 4:4 KJV: Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
I can understand that. I also don't like to define myself by dates or events but i do try to participate on them sometimes ... except my birthday.
What about having your picture taken? How do you feel about that?
I'm very strict about who i give my pictures. Even with extended family, i don't give them photos of me with the wife and kids.
Scripture says nothing explicitly against Christmas, which did not even exist at the time of its writing. Sounds like you are trying to start trouble. If you were a "real believer" you might show some of that agape love that you falsely advertise in your thread title.

He was speaking to Jeremiah. So, from that scripture, you conclude that you were saved from birth
you are deceived and sadly, I have come across far too many of you. it never ends well and you ultimately will hurt all those around you with false prophecies and things God told you to say...according to you.
