God's way is the way to practice aspects of His eternal character, such as in Genesis 18:19, God knew Abraham that he would teach his children and those of his household to walk in His way by doing righteousness and justice that the Lord may bring to him all that He has promised. In Exodus 33:13, Moses wanted God to be gracious to him by teaching him how to walk in His way that he might know Him, and in Psalms 103:7, God made His way known to Moses, so both Abraham and Moses walked in God's way and taught others to do that in accordance with the promise and with spreading the Gospel of the Kingdom. In Genesis 26:4-5, God will multiply Abraham's children as the stars in the heaven, to his children He will give all of these lands, and through his children all of the nations of the earth will be blessed because Abraham heard God's voice and guarded His commandments, His statutes, and His laws, and in Deuteronomy 30:16, if the children of Abraham will love God with all of their heart by walking in His way in obedience to His commandments, statutes, and laws, then they will live and multiply and God will bless them in the land that they go to posses, so the promise was made to Abraham and brought about because he walked in God's way in obedience to His law, he taught his children and those of his household to do that, and because they did that in obedience to the Mosaic Law.

If God made the New Covenant with us that He didn't make with the ancient Israelites and if the the New Covenant contains at least some of the same commandments as the Mosaic Covenant, then the fact that God made the Mosaic Covenant with the ancient Israelites that he hadn't made with their fathers does not show that any of the laws of the Mosaic Covenant were not previously given, and in fact there are many examples of God's laws being given prior to when they were given at Sinai without being told when God first commanded them. For example, in Genesis 4:7, God told Cain that sin was crouching at the door and he must master it, which implies that he already knew what sin is and must have already been given laws in that regard. In Genesis 7:2, Noah was told what to do with clean and unclean animals without being told hold to tell the difference, and in 8:20, he knew to offer a clean animal, so he must have already been given laws in that regard. In Genesis 39:9, Joseph knew that it was a sin to commit adultery.

So it is not safe to assume that none of the laws given at Sinai were not given prior to then, though it is also not save to assume that any law was given in the same form prior to when it was given at Sinai. For instance, God could give one person a list of 100 examples of how to act in accordance with His righteousness in various situations and then give a second person a different set of 100 examples of how to do that, so while different examples are used, they are all teaching the same sort of actions because they all have the same principle of righteousness is common. God's character is eternal, so we can expect that any two sets of instructions for how to act in accordance with His character are going to be very similar any any instructions that God has given for how to do that are eternally valid.[/QUOTE

I really liked you post.
I have been trying to say that gods Commandments his Laws, you could say moral laws were embedded in people's hearts and minds, into their very souls. Even without the tablets and before the Commandments were written down for people to fallow people had a moral sense of what was right and wrong, they knew good from bad and rightness from sin.
"Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws." (Gen 26:5)

Coincidentally, today's Merrium-Webster Word of the Day is Axiomatic
in contrast to yesterday's Word of the Day Bunkum.
I'd like to offer an excerpt from that entry:

Did You Know?
Some words in the English language have more colorful histories than others. In the case of bunkum, you could almost say it was an act of Congress that brought the word into being. Back in 1820, Felix Walker, who represented North Carolina's Buncombe County in the U.S. House of Representatives, was determined that his voice be heard on his constituents' behalf, even though the matter up for debate was irrelevant to Walker's district and he had little of substance to contribute. To the exasperation of his colleagues, Walker insisted on delivering a long and wearisome "speech for Buncombe." His persistent—if insignificant—harangue made buncombe (later respelled bunkum) a synonym for meaningless political claptrap and came later to refer to any kind of nonsense.

You made the assertion that the ten commandments are not part of the Law. You need to support that assertion with evidence. Passages from the NT will not cut it.
Yes, passages from the NT does cut it seeing that we are no longer under the old covenant the Old Testament laws.
And you need to go back and look at a lot of my post and responses, I do nothing but give scripture and verse after verse after verse to back up what I believe. I know we all do not believe the same thing and we will not see eye to eye, but I will state my views and opinion. Where is your scripture supporting that the Ten Commandments are no longer relevant.
The Commandments are mentioned all throughout the NT.
"You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him alone shall you serve" (Matthew 4:10, see also 1Corinthians 8:4 - 6)
"Little children, keep yourselves from idols" (1John 5:21, see also Acts 17:29).
"But the cowardly, and unbelieving . . . and idolaters . . . shall have their part in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone . . ." (Revelation 21:8)
"Our Father Who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name . . ." (Matthew 6:9, see also 1Timothy 6:1)
"The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath; Therefore, the Son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath" (Mark 2:27 - 28, Hebrews 4:4, 10, Acts 17:2)
"Honor your father and your mother" (Matthew 19:19, see also Ephesians 6:1)
"You shall not murder" (Matthew 19:18, see also Romans 13:9, Revelation 21:8)
"You shall not commit adultery" (Matthew 19:18, see also Romans 13:9, Revelation 21:8)
"You shall not steal" (Matthew 19:18, see also Romans 13:9)
"You shall not bear false witness" (Matthew 19:18, see also Romans 13:9, Revelation 21:8)
"You shall not covet" (Romans 13:9, see also Romans 7:7).
The Sabbath
“In the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week.” Matt. 28:1.
(Shows the Sabbath was before the first day of the week / Sunday. This is also in Mark, Luke and John.
“And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up: and, as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read.” Luke 4:16.
“But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day.” Matt. 24:20. (because the Sabbath is a holly day)
“Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath day. Acts 15:21.
“And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.” Acts 13:42

There are 60 referances to the Sabbath in the NT
There are many references to all kinds of sins also. So what's your point?

You have only TWO OPTIONS: Either put yourself under the Law of Christ or put yourself under the Law of Moses. The epistle to the Hebrews makes this clear. Not only that but you are actually OPPOSING God and Christ and RESISTING the Holy Spirit.

The apostle Peter -- formerly a strict Jew -- said this to you: Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they. (Acts 15:10,11) You are in fact tempting (or testing) God.

Sabbatarians have deluded themselves into thinking that they are the only Christians who obey God. As a matter of fact they are DISOBEYING Him. Only unsaved Jews who have rejected Christ observe the seventh day Sabbath.

Who are you to Judge! Your opinion is no more valid than anyone else. In keeping God Commandments and Sabbath observance I'm very happy and proud to be called a Sabbatarian (think I'll get a shirt made with that printed on it.)

the 3 main arguments that people use to say we don't need to keep the Sabbath.
The grace of Jesus frees us from the law.
The new covernant does not include the Sabbath.
and the Sabbath is only for the Jews....

The Grace frees us from the guilt of sin but does not mean that we should continue to sin.
The Ten-Commandment law was not the Old Covenant which was abolished.
We are all Spiritual Jews in Christ.

Jesus is our rest and we true Christians worship him every day . . .

Matthew 11:28
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. ~KJV
Jesus is the Creator, not the creation. He gives rest, He is not rest, the Sabbath day, or a commandment.

You might as well be an Adventist. Your obsession with the Sabbath and your same arguments are spot on with them.

How do you answer the question, "what must I do to be saved?"
Wow, should I say that you should be an atheist because you don't believe the same things I do?
I am not judging you; I just don't believe in the same things you believe in.
Don't dare label me!
I am a Christian.
I believe in the one true God.
I believe in my lord and Savior Jesus Christ
I have been saved and baptized.
I would actually lean more towards the 7th day Baptist.
I do believe the Ten Commandments are relevant.
I do believe in the Sabbath and Not Sunday Worship.
I do believe that Sunday worship is a counterfeit, a golden calf.
I know the history of how we got Sunday worship.
I do not believe Christ was resurrected Sunday morning but on the 7th day of the week in the evening just before sunset.
I do not believe Jesus was born Dec 25 or in Christmas, it is a Pagen holiday.
So, I do not believe in most Pagen holidays. I believe they go against scripture.
I have nothing against you, on the contrary I love you as God has commanded me too.
I try to be a good Christian, and obey God the best I can, remembering that even our best isn't good enough, but through Gods love and grace I am forgiven of my shortcomings.

Blessings, Danny

People don't seem to see the clear limitation that the Bible sets for this moral code that God wrote with His own finger and calling it the "Ten Commandments."
Why call them the 10 commandments if it included all the other laws.
It seems quite obvious that one would effectively do away with the Ten Commandments by mingling them with ninety or a hundred others and calling them “ordinances” instead of commandments.

Do you agree that they are distinct and a set of laws that are different.

Is there proof positive in the Scriptures that there was no such blending of the ceremonial and moral law into one? Can it be shown that the Ten Commandments were of a permanent, perpetual nature while the ceremonial law of statutes and ordinances came to an end when Jesus died? Indeed, there is an abundance of evidence to answer these questions with a resounding yes!

“And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone. And the Lord commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it” (Deuteronomy 4:13, 14).

Please notice how Moses clearly separated the Ten Commandments, which “he commanded you,” from the statutes which “he commanded me” to give the people. The big question now is whether those statutes and judgments, which Moses passed on to the people, were designated as a separate and distinct “law.”

God answers that important question in such a way that no doubt can remain. “Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them” (2 Kings 21:8). Here we are assured that the statutes which Moses gave the people were called a “law.” Anyone could discern that two different laws are being described. God speaks of the law “I commanded” and also the “law ... Moses commanded.” Unless this truth is understood properly, limitless confusion will result.

If you keep believing the 10 commandments were nailed to the cross you are confussed about these laws.
Pauls states that laws are nailed to the cross, but he also states that the "law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good." and that it is Spiritual. Also not to make void the law. How do we not make void the law and nail it to the cross at the same time.
2 laws, One was a shadow law introduced because of sin until the messiah came and the other defines what sin is.

We can make the exact same argument that you are blind to the truth. It's all a matter of what one believes to be true. Your opinion is no more valid that anyone else. Remember the saying "Religion is the opium of the masses." everyone has their own believes and we must respect that or at least take it with a grain of salt. This is a forum for us to share and post our believes and even disagree but do it with a little bit of respect.
