Notice the thing Abraham and I have in common: Jesus. Notice what Jesus and I don't have in common: Abraham.
Who's actually important: Jesus. He's the promise.
Did I ever tell you how nice it is to have my own personal scribe?“The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.”
Matthew 1:1 KJV
“Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.”
John 8:56, 58 KJV
“Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentile through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.”
Galatians 3:7-9 KJV
“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.”
Acts 2:38-39
“Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. ….For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
Galatians 3:16, 27-29
“As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.”
Genesis 17:4-5 KJV
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;
but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
Mark 16:15-16 KJV
I am not talking about a prophecywhen you realise what prophecy im refering to in exodus you will realise the prophecy of genesis was fulfilled
I want you to find it for yourself
and you believe it is your forever no matter what correct? The promise of eternal life in Christ? You bet your sweet bippy.
Just as Abraham rejoiced to see Jesus' day so have i.
Notice this has nothing to do with that promise.@Everlasting-Grace
Notice the thing Abraham and I have in common: Jesus. Notice what Jesus and I don't have in common: Abraham.

No you’re not. Your talking about a promise God made to ever nation in the world. And the people in all of those nations..“I am talking about the PROMISE he made to a nation of people”
The land portion was already fulfilled...Joshua 21:43. And the meaning for the giving of the land was so God's people had a place to enter into His rest. That, too, is fulfilled in Christ. In fact, all the promises of God are in Him yes, and in Him amen.
you where talking about prophecy and your now backtracking on your words to make your mistake correct, any your still not correct.I am not talking about a prophecy
I am talking about a covenant promise and a gift God gave to a people
So I doubt we are talking about the same thing
Of course. But not because the promise comes through the lineage of Abraham, but because He who promised is faithful.and you believe it is your forever no matter what correct?
I was talking about prophecy concerning Matt 24. But we stopped talking about that along time ago. And started to talk about the abrahamic covenantyou where talking about prophecy and your now backtracking on your words to make your mistake correct, any your still not correct.
I look forward to it. Although, your not the first one to say this to me…..But that ok because I can wait for people to wake up, I've waited for years with people.
1. What prophecy in exodus? i thought you were going to wake me up?I really don't mind if and when you find out the gift in exodus if that's what you want it to mean now.
I will stand by morals and let you seek and ask God, as I'm instructed to ask you to ask God and not my word for it.
I see you've already turned this discussion in to a personal salvation issue with people so I will now bow out. Good day
Your the first amill person I have ever met to believe thatOf course. But not because the promise comes through the lineage of Abraham, but because He who promised is faithful.
The promise given to Abraham wasn't eternal life. The promise was that the eternal life previously promised would come through his lineage.Notice this has nothing to do with that promise.
it has to do about the promise of god making him a great nation and giving that nation a gift.
Why do you want to talk about eternal life. And Not a promise God gave to a nation of people?
no if I tell you now you'll reject it.I was talking about prophecy concerning Matt 24. But we stopped talking about that along time ago. And started to talk about the abrahamic covenant
I look forward to it. Although, your not the first one to say this to me…..
1. What prophecy in exodus? i thought you were going to wake me up?
2. i did not turn it into a salvation issue, they did.. How can I believe you will wake me up when you can not even discern who is saying what?
-actually Abraham was given a few promises.. Only one part of all of the promises concerns the eternal life given through his seed (in you shall all the nations of the world be blessed)The promise given to Abraham wasn't eternal life. The promise was that the eternal life previously promised would come through his lineage.
We are speaking about eternal, simply one aspect of it. If you want to broaden the scope of the conversation, we will have to move on to Christ.
I know hundreds.Your the first amill person I have ever met to believe that
congratulations.
My salvation is not at risk. Why do you continue to think I think it does.’’Once again, I am not saying this is a salvation issue. The others are talking about the promise being salvation not me..no if I tell you now you'll reject it.
I can't bare feeling rejected in truth anymore than you can but you should ask God to help you with that.
So why don't you stop feeling like your salvation is at risk for a simple discussion.
Because obviously this is how your reacting when you feal your truth is rejected.
I have spoke to many. And have never met one in my 40 years..I know hundreds.
I said and meant personal salvation issue where you hint at someone not being saved. My salvation is not at risk. Why do you continue to think I think it does.’’Once again, I am not saying this is a salvation issue. The others are talking about the promise being salvation not me..
But did you ever actually read the parable and take in what it’s saying though lol ? what’s Jesus saying to them in that parable ?
it doesn’t seem like your willing to actually acknolwedge what he’s saying to them I’m not sure this is going to be worth our time can you acknowledge what Jesus is talking about right there
“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate [ponder just what it means to be "LEFT UNTO YOU DESOLATE"]: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.”
Luke 13:34-35 KJV
