I heard one of the best reasons for me to never have a kid.
One of the ladies at work was talking about disciplining her child, and he said something smart alec that made her have to step out of the room until she got her laughter under control. "The hardest part of raising a kid is disciplining the you out of them."
I started thinking about what it would be like to discipline the Isaac out of my kid...
"Why do you keep arguing when you know that I know you did it?"
"Cause it's fun."
(Real conversation that once happened between me and my mom.)
How could I discipline that? The hypothetical kid would have a good point. And I would probably have ulcers...
