I'm still not sure what it is where disagreeing over.

If your saved and you become sick is that a result of sin to.

And I'm having a hard time understanding what difference it makes to the timing when God said man shall live for 120 years.

again The body dies because the Flesh is not saved. Jesus died a Physical death so will we all unless He comes someday.

Jesus fully trusted the Father and gave up his Life. We will die a death because of the flesh is not yet saved BUT our Faith and Hope are in Christ who is our Resurrection. Therefore even if I die a physical death I will resurrect as HE did when HE calls me. That is the hope we have in HIM.

what was meant by man shall not live by for more than 120. Did that not mean man could live untill that age.

Does it not mean you could live until that age.

The only thing I'm challenging at the moment is whether all sickness is related to sin.

I'm not challenging whether all death is related to sin as of this moment just sickness at this point

I am not going to speak to you like you are incapable of understanding the Biblical narrative in the context of sin.

Man's sin has a beginning. That is seen in Genesis chapter 3.

Man's relationship with God was different before sin entered into the human race.
Man's condition changed when sin entered into the life of man. They now had the ability to die a physical death.

The condition of man's life span changed after the flood. You can read in Genesis chapters 7 & 8. Prior to the flood, man lived 5, 6, 9 hundreds 969 was the age of Methuselah before he died. After the flood the earth did not support life to live as it did before the flood. That was part of the judgment of God because of the after effects of the flood.

Yes, sin causes sickness and death. Yet one doesn't have to commit a sinful act to get sick.

No, I am not saying that either. I am saved and I have been sick I trusted God to heal me and Trust if I die. Yet sin the act of sin does produce it's own payment the Bible says.

as an example: I will die someday yet drunkness which is a sin can lead to sickness in the body.
perversion can lead to sickness in the Body.

there is so many things you can become unwell in that are not necessarily dew to sin, such as grief.

Then grief can lead to drunkenness.
But just the grief alone can cause a person to be come unwell in many ways.

Listen, IF sin Never entered the human race, we would never be sick even if we drank wine every day and were drunk. Drunkness leads to more depravity because of the law of sin.

Drunkenness was not a sin that was named until the action of being drunk produced what is known as an unrighteous act. God who is holy His Standard we cannot live up to. The law proves that. All laws were given after man broke them.

Did not man idol worship before God said thou shall not? Did not man kill or shed innocent blood before God said do not murder? Yes, man did. The heart of Man creates wicked things; even now, sins that are not named in the bible are being done today, but they are sins.

is it more the case your seeing sin as sickness and your in a mood because the title of this thread suggest satan should be blamed for sin

Or God should be blamed for not getting rid of satan.

I don't know really what your annoyed about the most

Yes sin is a form of sickness I agree and sickness can come from sin too.

Sickness how ever can be a result of someone else's actions would you agree

If we read the Book of Genesis God held man, women, and the devil accountable for their sins. I'm not annoyed at all. I think you have a presupposition about what I think about the thread and a wrong narrative of my mood :).

In context to the Thread Title my original answer was and still is all sickness and disease comes from sin.

That is a good question. I don't know.

What I do know is the Devil has a nature in contrast to God, and he does steal, kill, and destroy.
I read that Satan attacked JOB yet I do not see anywhere in JOB where he (JOB) knew it was the devil doing so. Job never mentioned Satan himself. I can say if a person blames the devil for their sickness I would not say that is wrong :). Yet I would not be all-knowing to know if that were so. Unless God by His Spirit gave me discernment on that person.

valid points , there's a lot of people who believe satan can cause disease, working in a cancer hospital as a porter transporting patients who had died, I would always hear stories of Satan, it was a job I didn't last long in but long enough to hear many stories and many looks of fear on people. Fear you don't forget even from Christians

People would confide in me and worry for there loved ones telling me only the important things in there life, we would get Christians coming through too, regularly I've seen it all and heard it all. I've heard many stories of the damage Satan has done in Christian life's and had real discernment to know they where genuine people not at fault for there trouble and for what they where leaving behind.

Makes you wonder really just how much we do know about the unseen

I partly agree. I see the twin meaning of blindness, physical and spiritual. However, Jesus cured the physically blind as the Bible said.

The part I disagree with is that any disease could be sent for the glory of God, if you mean that. I think all disease is what we suffer due to the original fall of man into sin. But Christ came and showed us He can conquer it. So He will cure us if we pray and if it is His will. But disease doesn't glorify, it oppresses. Our response to it can glorify God of course and there perhaps I can understand your view.
Cancer, for example, is like the polarization between the rich and the poor in the world. The rich keep absorbing the nutrients of the poor, and eventually the world will become as weak as the terminal cancer. You can observe the world and think about other diseases, but I agree that diseases show the depravity and evil of the world.o
