One of the points I was attempting to make is those in Christ are obeying commands "[14] Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you" that ultimately fulfill Verse [4] abide in me, and I in you. Whether if it is agreed upon or not, doing the commands of Jesus is a requirement or we are not His friends. And clearly only the friends doing the commands of Jesus will be in Heaven...How are people missing this?...I personally do not think it's possible to earn or keep salvation...And I am a Grace person because I was saved by Grace.
Precious friend, seems to be a
contradiction between:
Impossible to "earn or keep" salvation, and the
possibility of:
"only the [ earning / keeping ] friends of Jesus will be in heaven, eh?
God's Word Of Truth,
studied Rightly Divided, does not "miss this" - it
(Matthew - John) does
belong in God's
Previous Context Of:
Prophecy / Covenants / Law, for the "lost sheep" of the house of Israel
faith PLUS works...
However, it does
Not belong in, and Must Be:
Rightly Divided (
2 Timothy 2:15) From “
Things That Differ!” (
online):
ie:
God's
Current Context Of Grace, Within "The Revelation Of God's
Mystery":
"By Grace Through faith" with not one
mention of "friends" of Jesus, but,
we,
Saved ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑, Have An Impossible To Break 'Relationship' Established
By God Himself With us
Forever, upon "belief/faith/trust
In Him, According To
The Gospel Of Grace!:
"For I delivered unto you first of all That Which I also received,
how that Christ
Died for our sins according to the Scriptures;
And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day
According to the Scriptures" (1Co 15:3-4)
Then, After What God Has Done, what we are to do is The Very
"Simplicity Of Christ" Which Is, The Law of "faith, which worketh By Love":
"For all the law is fulfilled in One Word, even in this;
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." (Gal 5:14)
This is not to
prevent "the [
Impossible ] breaking Of The
Above 'Relationship',
But, it is to complete "what we,
Saved By Grace Through faith" are called for:
"God is faithful, By Whom ye Were Called unto the
fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord." (1Co 1:9)
Very BIG
Difference between the two, eh?
Since there are no
friends [ nor 'priests' Nor 'sheep' (of
Israel) ] mentioned
in Romans - Philemon (Grace Love Letters), then what is mentioned?
All these,
Correct?:
"{adopted, dear} children of {the Living God, light, the day, Abraham, promise}, believers, sons {of God}, daughters, brothers, sisters, brethren {beloved, carnal, faithful, and spiritual}, babes In Christ, {young, aged} men/women, {dearly}
beloved {of The LORD}, members {in particular, one of another}, servants {of
Christ}, saints, ministers, fellowlabourers, workers, co-labourers {with God},
elect of God, followers of God, heirs/joint-heirs, the temple {of God},
comforters, walkers, runners, kissers, greeters, saluters, sufferers, groaners,
prayer partners, rejoicers, warriors, wrestlers, And, ambassadors of Christ!"
Amen.
Precious friend, please Be Very
Richly Encouraged and Edified In Christ,
And In His
Precious Word Of Truth, Rightly Divided!
God's Simple Will!
