I believe the gospel is 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. The gospel is believing that Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and risen the third day for our salvation.
But 2 Thessalonians 2:14 says the gospel calls us. This call of the gospel (not that it is the gospel) is ….
God has chosen you to salvation through Sanctification of the Spirit and a belief of the truth (2 Thessalonians 2:13).
Do you care to give me a word for word commentary on Galatians 6:8-9?

If our witness is not His true Gospel, is that not evil? If our witness condemns believers, is that not evil? If our witness draws the flock away from His true Gospel, is that not evil and wolf like? A born-again believer that is discerning and growing in His Grace can spot this evil by their rotten fruit/evil deeds.....wolves.
Our words are fruits(deeds.) Our witness is a fruit. If our witness for the Lord Jesus Christ is not His true gospel, it is evil and we are wolves.

Yes, we know Him. The reason we know is because we keep the commandments. But it doesn't say keeping the commandments produces eternal life. The whole book is a set of proofs designed to let believers KNOW that they have eternal life...5:13. This is the key verse in the epistle and establishes the purpose of the book...These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that you have eternal life,...
So picking one of the evidences of knowing that one has eternal life and calling that eternal life is the problem here. You are one of any number of Judaizers who have joined the site recently and are trying to teach others here that we should relate to God on the basis of the law. That has been tried and has failed. That's the whole reason a better covenant was necessary.

This is confirmed by Romans 8:13, and Galatians 6:8-9 and by the immediate context of 2 Thessalonians 2:13.
Proverbs 28:13 says he that confesses and forsakes sin shall have mercy.
It’s not…. Believe on the finished work of the cross alone your whole life, and you will have mercy.
So one will not confess and forsake sin always if they hold to the view that all they have to do is believe on Jesus for salvation.
Hence, we will know them by their evil fruit or bad deeds.
The context of one being a wolf and knowing them by their fruit (Matthew 7:15-16) can be found in Matthew 7:26-27.
Jesus says everyone who does not do what He says is like a fool who built His house upon the sand and when a storm came, great was the fall of that house. Jesus taught the Parable of the Talents whereby the unprofitable servant was cast into outer darkness (Matthew 25:14-30). Jesus warned how how certain sins can condemn our souls in the after life (Matthew 5:28-30, Matthew 6:15, Matthew 12:37, Matthew 25:31-46, Luke 9:62, etcetera).

I fail to see how preaching the Word is uplifting myself. Actually, in Perpetual Belief Alone Salvationism, it is all about you and what you can get away with. In Perpetual Belief Alone-ism, it’s all about justifying some kind of sin on some level. Confessing and sin to have mercy is not necessary according to Proverbs 28:13. It’s not about picking up your cross and denying yourself to follow Jesus at all. It’s all about believing in Jesus and nothing else really. So then one does not even need the Bible if that is the case.

There are sins of Commission, like do not steal, do not covet, do not murder, etcetera.
There are also sins of Omission like things you don’t do for God in this life, like not preaching the gospel (Luke 9:62), and not helping the poor (loving your neighbor) Luke 10:25-37, Matthew 25:31-46, loving your brother (1 John 2:9-11, 1 John 1:7, 1 John 3:10).

They could not fathom or accept the idea that they were working iniquity (Matthew 7:23) and or that they did not do what Jesus said and thus they built their house upon the sand, which later led to a disastrous end (Matthew 7:26-27).
