Been through the preliminary stages of the process of election in the News thread.

No doubt we have all the political skills needed for a successful campaign.

Being a modest girl myself I’ll just run for the Secretary of Defense position myself.

Being a long time operative I might teach the young people a thing of two.

Question still remains. Who’s going to run for president?

Very fun topic Susana, but i think that things are fine for now. Not perfect but fine.
But because i like this game i will play along.

I will run the ministry of applied sciences and education.
So one day i will come in the group cabinet meeting and i will ask you all for some money to improve infrastructure such as bridges, roads and new urbanization efforts to improve traffic flow.
You will probably gonna be like: "Welllll we have a new campaign coming up now for reelection and Putin is coming to visit so we need the money for a state dinner, plus we are pouring our money now into our new homeschooling efforts nationwide".

Then i will ask for some money for exploring Mars and maybe find some valuable resources there.
The cabinet will be like "What are you doing in Mars? There's no aliens there. God only created Earth and that's it! Request denied."

Then i will be like "But why are we allowing the army to charge us $95 for a hammer when we could buy it at HomeDepot for $10"?

Seriously? I am part of Jesus Christ's administration. Sorry to burst your bubble but God has already placed His vote and that is the only vote that matters.

And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

lol, Just a miner detail but Secretary of Defense isn't an elected official it's an appointed position?

Is that what our Secretary of defense has become? A bunch of miners digging tunnels and bunkers for the tribulation?

I'd be the secretary in charge of naps and chocolate. I could make up a schedule for when to eat chocolate to get stuff done and when to take a nap when the caffeine runs out.

I'd make schedules for first, second and third shift, as well as guides on how to make your own schedule if your life doesn't fit the traditional shift times.

I would also travel the country inspecting chocolate factories to make sure they meet their stated cocoa content. That is when I would eat chocolate. I would also inspect mattress and pillow factories to make sure their products provide adequate comfort, which is when I would take naps.

As for president, you on your own there. Noooooo WAY I'm gonna do that or wish it on anybody else. Everybody and his cousin's best friend's brother's neighbor likes to tear down the president. Nope nope nope nope, aint' gonna do it.

Oh hey, I just thought of someone I WOULD wish it on - cinder!

No, it's not because I hate her. I don't.

She'd be good with numbers, logistics AND not giving a flying fart what people thought of her. All three would be equally important with this job.

I suggest Rodney for Department of Interior. He'd make sure all houses are up to code and everyone at least knows somebody who knows how to cook.

Yexi could be over the Department of Cats. She would make sure everybody who needed a good cat knew how to find the local animal shelter.
